20210624 Harmonix Lifestyle Hub Inaugural Launch

Following is the Harmonix Lifestyle Hub Inaugural Launch Address given by His Holiness Jayapatākā swami on 24^th June 2021.

Jayapatākā Swami: S0 what can I do regarding the Harmonix online school inauguration.

Ādideva Giridhārī Dāsa: Guru Mahārāja Please accept our most respectful obeisances. Thank you so much for gracing this occasion and blessing all the kids. We have Nandajā, Nanda Putra Prabhu’s daughter, who wants to offer a garland to you Guru Mahārāja.

Jayapatākā Swami: Thank you!

Nandajā: Hare Kṛṣṇa Guru Mahārāja, I offer my humble obeisances.

Jayapatākā Swami: Haribol! Thank you Nandajā. Nanni!

Nandajā: Hare Kṛṣṇa Guru Mahārāja. Thank you. Daṇḍavat Praṇāmas to you Guru Mahārāja.

Jayapatākā Swami: Thank you! So how many children are taking this online Harmonix school?

Ādideva Giridhārī Dāsa: Guru Mahārāja, as of now there are 81 children Guru Mahārāja.

Jayapatākā Swami: What is the program envisioned?

Ādideva Giridhārī Dāsa: Basically we are given education in the cultural, arts and spiritual forms Guru Mahārāja. We have courses on values education, we have on Vedic stories for the younger children, for older kids we have a structured study of Bhagavad-gītā which is called the Indian Philosophy studies. We have Bhagavad-gītā ślokas and subhāṣitās. We have included Sanskrit proverbs also, and little meditation, yoga and prāṇāyāma as well. And some art forms and painting. We are introducing one by one. Probably after all the kids hear you speak, then I can show you the course page also Guru Mahārāja.

Jayapatākā Swami: So what should I do now?

Ādideva Giridhārī Dāsa: The kids are eagerly waiting to hear you Guru Mahārāja.

Jayapatākā Swami: So, I offer obeisances to Śrīla Prabhupāda.   

nama oṁ viṣṇu-pādāya kṛṣṇa-preṣṭhāya bhū-tale
śrīmate bhaktivedānta-svāmin iti nāmine
namas te sārasvate deve gaura-vāṇī-pracāriṇe
nirviśeṣa-śūnyavādi-pāścātya-deśa-tāriṇe

jaya śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya
prabhu-nityānanda
śrī-advaita gadādhara
śrīvāsādi-gaura-bhakta-vṛnda

hare kṛṣṇa hare kṛṣṇa
kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa hare hare
hare rāma hare rāma
rāma rāma hare hare

mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-guruṁ dīna-tāraṇam
paramananda madhavam śrī caitanya iswaram
hariḥ oṁ tat sat

So, it seems very interesting, having education which increases the students, spiritual, cultural and yogic advancement. This human life is a special gift. We should perfect the human life, to go back to back to the spiritual world at the end of this life. Svayambhuva Manu, he was showing that he led a comfortable life, but he did it in a Kṛṣṇa conscious and God conscious manner. As a result, he didn’t get entangled in the material complexities. Although he had children, he had a family, he was an Emperor. He had all material comforts. But he would hear the glories of Kṛṣṇa every day.

He had a Gandharva band playing music. He may not be able to afford each family a Gandharva band. Nowadays, we have internet, we have TV, we have taperecorders. In this way, we can hear the message of the Lord. And studying Bhagavad-gītā in different Vedic studies, and participating in cultural art, etc. it can actually help the people to reach the perfection of life. So, we are not suggesting that people should not be comfortable. They should not have material happiness. Just that it should be done in a Kṛṣṇa conscious manner. So that at the end of life they go back to the spiritual world, where there is no death, no old age, no disease, no rebirth.

So every parents have their duty to see that their children are liberated. It seems that this Harmonix school will facilitate that spiritual perfection, and help people become better human beings. So I am very happy that this program is being established at the vision of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda, and presenting that to all the children. 

So, with all my best wishes, I would like to state that, this program may be inaugurated and proceeded. I thank Ādideva Giridhārī Dāsa, Nanda Putra Dāsa and their wives who are doing incredible service in this regard. And I thank all those who are online for this program on this holy day of Ciḍā-dahi Mahotsava. At Pānihāṭi dhāma I hope you all had the festival and participated in the yoghurt flat rice, fruit feast. So this bhakti-yoga system includes chanting, singing, feasting, studying. Thank you!
