The following is a Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Book Compilation given by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja on June 24th, 2021 in Śrī Dhāma Māyāpur, India.

mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-guruṁ dīna-tāraṇam
paramānandaṁ mādhavaṁ śrī caitanya iśvaram

Hare Kṛṣṇa! Dear Devotees! Today we will continue with the compilation of Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Book, Today's chapter is entitled as:

Like Father Like Son – Advaita Ācārya and Acyutānanda [Part-2]

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.184

śrī-advaita-ācārya-kartṛka śrī-caitanya-pārṣada svīya śiśu-putrera prati ādara— 
putrera mahimā dekhi’ advaita-ācārya
putra kole kari’ kānde chāḍi’ sarva kārya

Jayapatākā Swami: On seeing the glories of His son, Advaita Ācārya took His son on His lap and embraced him, and cried in ecstasy and stopped all other activities.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.185

putrera aṅgera dhūlā āpanāra aṅge
lepena advaita ati parānanda-raṅge

Jayapatākā Swami: Advaita Ācārya then smeared the dust from His son’s body on His own body in great transcendental ecstasy.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.186

caitanyera pārṣada janmilā mora ghare
eta bali’ nāce prabhu tāli diyā kare

Jayapatākā Swami: He clapped His hands and danced as He declared, “Lord Caitanya’s associate has taken birth in My house!” This is the perfection of a gṛhastha life, He has a child, who is an associate of the Lord. So, Advaita Ācārya was so happy that His son had such great realizations, He understood that he was an associate of Lord Caitanya.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.187

putra kole kari’ nāce advaita gosāñi
tribhuvane yāhāra bhaktira sīmā nāi

Jayapatākā Swami: Advaita Gosāñi, whose devotional service is unrivaled within the three worlds, then began to dance with His son in His arms.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.188

advaita-gṛhe prabhura sapārṣade upasthiti— 
putrera mahimā dekhi’ advaita vihvala
hena kāle upasanna sarva sumaṅgala

Jayapatākā Swami: While Advaita Ācārya became overwhelmed on seeing His son’s glories, all auspicious signs manifested in His house.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.189

sapārṣade śrī-gaurasundara sei-kṣaṇe
āsi’ āvirbhāva hailā advaita-bhavane

Jayapatākā Swami: At that moment Lord Śrī Gaurasundara and His associates arrived appearing at the house of Advaita Ācārya .

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.190

prāṇa-nātha iṣṭa-deve advaita dekhiyā
paḍilena pṛthivīte daṇḍavat haiyā

Jayapatākā Swami: When Advaita Ācārya saw His worshipable Lord of His life, He fell on the ground offering prostrate obeisances, daṇḍavats.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.191

‘hari’ bali’ śrī-advaita karena huṅkāra
premānande deha pāsarilā āpanāra

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Śrī Advaita Ācārya cried out the name of Lord Hari, Hari Bol! in ecstatic love, and forgot about His own body.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.192

jaya-jayakāra dhvani kare nārī-gaṇe
uṭhila paramānanda advaita-bhavane

Jayapatākā Swami: Advaita Ācārya’s ladies made auspicious sounds, jaya! jaya! ulu-dhvani and in this way Advaita Ācārya’s entire house became filled with transcendental ecstasy. So we can see how in Advaita household everyone was Kṛṣṇa conscious. And when Lord Caitanya appeared with His associates, Advaita Ācārya, He was dancing and chanting Hari Bol!, And Offering His prostrate obeisances. And the ladies of His house began making auspicious sounds like jaya jaya! ulu-dhvani. So His whole house became filled with transcendental bliss.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.193

ācārya o mahāprabhura paraspara premakrandana— 
prabhu o karilā advaitere nija-kole
siñcilena aṅga tāṅra premānanda-jale

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Caitanya reciprocated by personally embracing Advaita Ācārya and then soaked his body with tears of ecstatic love.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.194

pāda-padma vakṣe kari’ ācārya gosāñi
rodana karena ati bāhya kichu nāi

Jayapatākā Swami: Ācārya Gosāi held Lord Caitanya’s lotus feet to His chest and began to cry profusely and lost all external consciousness. The ecstatic mood of Advaita Gosāi is something completely indescribable. Sometimes in this world they talk about love, actually they see that the relationship between Lord Caitanya and Advaita Gosāi was actual love. That’s what we are missing in this world.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.195

bhaktagaṇera premakrandana— 
catur-dike bhakta-gaṇa karena krandana
ki adbhuta prema, sneha,—nā yāya varṇana

Jayapatākā Swami: The devotees on all sides began to cry. The exhibition of such wonderful love and affection is beyond description.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.196

advaita-kartṛka prabhuke āsana pradāna— 
sthira hai’ kṣaṇeke advaita mahāśaya
vasite āsana dilā kariyā vinaya

Jayapatākā Swami: After a short time Advaita Mahāśaya became settled. He then humbly offered Lord Caitanya a sitting āsana or carpet.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.197

sapārṣada mahāprabhura upaveśana — 
vasilena mahāprabhu uttama āsane
catur-dike śobhā kare pāriṣada-gaṇe

Jayapatākā Swami: As Caitanya Mahāprabhu sat down on that fine seat. Missing His associates surrounded Lord Caitanya beautifully on all sides.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.198

nityānande o advaite kolākuli — 
nityānande advaite haila kolākuli
duṅhā dekhi’ antarete doṅhe kutūhalī

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Nityānanda and Advaita Ācārya embraced each other. They both became jubilant on seeing each other.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.199

bhaktagaṇera ācārya-namaskāra o ācāryera premāliṅgana— 
ācāryere namaskarilena bhakta-gaṇa
ācārya sabāre kailā prema-āliṅgana

Jayapatākā Swami: All Lord Caitanya’s devotees offered obeisances to Advaita Ācārya, who in turn lovingly embraced them all.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.200

advaita-gṛhera ānanda vedavyāsai varṇane samartha— 
ye ānanda upajila advaitera ghare
vedavyāsa vinā tāhā varṇite ke pāre?

Jayapatākā Swami: No one other than Vedavyāsa is able to describe the ecstasy that manifested in Advaita Ācārya’s house. Such was the meeting of Advaita Ācārya with Lord Nityānanda. Lord Caitanya and all the associates that such a loving ecstasy was manifested, the house became completely like the spiritual world.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.201

acyutera prati prabhura apāra kṛpā— 
kṣaṇeke acyutānanda-advaita-kumāra
prabhura caraṇe āsi’ hailā namaskāra

Jayapatākā Swami: Shortly thereafter, Advaita Ācārya’s son Acyutānanda came and offered Lord Caitanya’s lotus feet obeisances.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.202

acyutere kole kari’ śrī-gaurasundara
prema-jale dhuilena tāṅra kalevara

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Śrī Gaurasundara embraced Acyutānanda and soaked his body with tears of love.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.203

acyutere prabhu nā chāḍena vakṣa haite
acyuta praviṣṭa hailā prabhura dehete

Jayapatākā Swami: Then Lord Caitanya would not release Acyutānanda from His chest, and Acyutānanda appeared to merge in Lord Caitanya’s body.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.204

acyutere kṛpā dekhi’ sarva bhakta-gaṇa
preme sabe lāgilena karite krandana

Jayapatākā Swami: On seeing Lord Caitanya’s mercy on Acyutānanda, all the devotees began to cry in love.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.205

acyutera mahimā— 
yata caitanyera priya pāriṣada-gaṇa
acyutera priya nahe, hena nāhi jana

Jayapatākā Swami: To all the devotees associates who were dear to Lord Caitanya, there was none to whom Acyutānanda was not dear.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.206

nityānanda-svarūpera prāṇera samāna
gadādhara-paṇḍitera śiṣyera pradhāna

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Nityānanda considered him as equal to His very life, and he was the principal disciple of Gadādhara Paṇḍita.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.207

yogyatama pitāra yogyatama putra— 
ihāre se bali yogya advaita-nandana
yena pitā tena putra, ucita milana

Jayapatākā Swami: Therefore, Acyutānanda is called the qualified son of Advaita. Like father like son, an exemplary combination of father and son.

So, this chapter elucidates the glories of Acyutānada. Having complete devotion to Lord Caitanya had made Acyutānanda very dear to all the devotees and made Advaita Ācārya very happy, and in fact Lord Caitanya also offered him special mercy. Like that we see how Acuytānanda has received the blessing of Nitāi-Gaura, Advaita Ācārya and all other associates.
