Hariḥ oṁ tat sat!

Hare Kṛṣṇa! Dear Devotees! Today we will continue with the compilation of Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Book, Today's chapter is entitled :

Acyutānanda Glorifies Śrī Caitanyadeva to Refute the Statement of Śrī Advaita Prabhu
Under the Section: The Lord’s Attempt to Go to Vṛndāvana

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.156

ācārya-vākyera prativāda— jagadgurugaṇera guru svarāṭ puruṣottama śrī-caitanya—
“ki balilā bāpa! bala dekhi āra bāra
‘caitanyera guru āche’ vicāra tomāra

Jayapatākā Swami: “O father, what did You say? Could You repeat that again? Lord Caitanya has a guru, do You think that?

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.157

kon vā sāhase tumi e-mata vacana
jihvāya ānilā, ihā nā bujhi kāraṇa

Jayapatākā Swami: “How do You dare say such a thing? How You brought it to your tongue? I don't understand the reason.

Purport (by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhāta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura): When the five-year-old child, Śrī Acyutānanda, heard Śrī Advaita Prabhu say that Keśava Bhāratī was Śrī Caitanyadeva's spiritual master, he became very angry and said, “This is Kali-yuga. Otherwise how can one say that Keśava Bhāratī is Śrī Caitanyadeva's spiritual master?” The attempt to belittle the Supreme Lord with a tongue suitable for persons of Kali-yuga is indicative of Śrī Advaita Prabhu's audacity. Did Advaita Prabhu make such a statement under the influence of the Lord's illusory energy, which bewilders even demigods like Brahmā and Śiva? Only living entities conditioned by māyā can speak such absurd statements.

Jayapatākā Swami: So, Acyutānanda as a five-year-old boy running naked with dirt on his body, he was angry that Lord Caitanya is being minimized by saying, He had a guru. So, that means Acyutānanda already had a deep understanding of Lord Caitanya’s position.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.158

śrī-caitanyera māyāya brahmā-śaṅkarādio mugdha—
tomāra jihvāya yadi e-mata āila
hena bujhi—ekhane se kali-kāla haila

Jayapatākā Swami: “Since such words came from Your mouth, then I can understand here, that the Age of Kali has arrived.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.159-160

athavā caitanya-māyā parama dustara
yāhāte pāyena moha brahmādi śaṅkara

bujhilāma-viṣṇu-māyā haila tomāre
kebā caitanyera māyā taribāre pāre?

Jayapatākā Swami: “Otherwise Lord Caitanya's most difficult to overcome illusory energy, which bewilders even personalities like Brahmā and Śaṅkara has bewildered You. Who can overcome the illusion of Lord Caitanya?

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.161

‘caitanyera guru āche’ balilā yakhane
māyā-vaśa vinā ihā kahilā kemane?

Jayapatākā Swami: “When You say, ‘Lord Caitanya has a spiritual master,’ it means that You are influenced by māyā. Otherwise how could You say such things?

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.162

śrī-caitanyera mahattva-kīrtana—
ananta brahmāṇḍa sei caitanya-icchāya
saba caitanyera loma-kūpete miśāya

Jayapatākā Swami: “By the supreme will of Lord Caitanya innumerable universes enter the hair pores of Lord Caitanya’s transcendental body.”

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.163

jala-krīḍā-parāyaṇa caitanya-gosāñi
viharena ātma-krīḍa-āra dui nāi

Jayapatākā Swami: “It is Lord Caitanya-Gosāi who enjoys His own pastimes in the water of the Causal Ocean. There is no one else”

Purport (by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhāta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura): By His own sweet will Śrī Gaurasundara enjoys pastimes in the Causal Ocean as Kāraṇābdhiśāyī Puruṣa, who is the controller of all living entities; in the Garbhodaka Ocean as Garbhodaśāyī Puruṣa, who is the soul of Hiraṇyagarbha, the sum total of all living entities; and in the Milk Ocean as Kṣīrodaśāyī Puruṣa, who is the Supersoul of the individual living entities.

Jayapatākā Swami: So, child Acyutānanda understood that Kṛṣṇa Caitanya was non-different from the Trī-viṣṇu Avatāra.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.164

yata dekha mahāmuni—mahā abhimāna
uddeśa nā thāke kāro, kothā kāra nāma

Jayapatākā Swami: “It has been seen that great sages who were proud of their position did not know who they were or what was their status.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.165-166

punaḥ sei caitanyera acintya-icchāya
nābhi-padma haite brahmā hayena līlāya

haiyāo nā thāke dekhite kichu śakti
avaśeṣe karena ekānta-bhāve bhakti

Jayapatākā Swami: “By the inconceivable desire of Lord Caitanya, Lord Brahmā appears from the lotus flower that sprouts from His navel. Yet after Brahmā’s appearance, he had no power to see anything until he engaged in unalloyed devotional service to the Lord.”

See Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, Second Canto, Chapter Nine.

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.167

tabe bhakti-vaśe tuṣṭa haiyā tāhāne
tattva-upadeśa prabhu kahena āpane

Jayapatākā Swami: “When Lord Caitanya was satisfied by his devotional service, He personally imparted in Brahmā, knowledge of the Absolute Truth.”

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.168

tabe sei brahmā prabhu-ājñā kari' śire
sṛṣṭi kari' sei jñāna kahena sabāre

Jayapatākā Swami: “Accepting the Supreme Lord's instructions on his head, Lord Brahmā began to create the universe. He thereafter imparted that spiritual knowledge to all others.”

Caitanya-Bhāgavata Antya-khaṇḍa 4.169

sei jñāna sanakādi pāi' brahmā haite
pracāra karena tabe kṛpāya jagate

Jayapatākā Swami: The four Kumāras headed by Sanaka received that knowledge from Brahmā and then mercifully distributed that knowledge to the world.” Lord Advaita Ācārya was amazed to hear this boy’s realization. So Acyutānanada had a such a deep understanding, which even devotees of many years in the movement may not understand. So, it is a very wonderful thing!
