nibhṛte kahila tāre—rākhibe hiyāya

Jayapatākā Swami: Whoever worships His body, worships Lord Kṛṣṇa. Now I will tell you another secret. Keep this secret in your heart.

Caitanya Maṅgala, Madhya-khaṇḍa 12.60

Jayapatākā Swami: Please know that I reside in the bodies of Gadādhara Paṇḍita Gosāñi, Nityānanda, Advaita, Śrīvāsa and Rāmāi.

Jayapatākā Swami: Know for certain My body is present in all of these. I told you this secret, please keep it in your heart.

Caitanya Maṅgala, Madhya-khaṇḍa 12.62

e vela śuniñā se murāri vaidyarāja
antare jānila prabhura antarera kāja

Jayapatākā Swami: Hearing these words, Murāri Gupta, the king of the physicians, in his own heart, he understood the actions of Lord Gaurāṅga’s heart.

Caitanya Maṅgala, Madhya-khaṇḍa 12.63

kāndite kāndite prabhura paḍila caraṇe
niścaya jānilā prabhura sannyāsakaraṇe

Jayapatākā Swami: Weeping and weeping, he fell before Lord Gaurāṅga’s lotus feet. He knew for certain that Lord Gaurāṅga was about to accept sannyāsa.

Caitanya Maṅgala, Madhya-khaṇḍa 12.64

haridāsa caraṇe kariyā namaskāra
ātmasamarpaṇa kare vinaya apāra

Jayapatākā Swami: Murāri Gupta, he then offered obeisances to the lotus feet of Haridāsa Ṭhākura. He offered himself in surrender with great humility.

Caitanya Maṅgala, Madhya-khaṇḍa 12.65

murārikāndanā prabhu śunite kātara

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Gaurāṅga, hearing Murāri Gupta’s weeping, He was sorrowful. He quickly stood up and hurried back to His own home.

Caitanya Maṅgala, Madhya-khaṇḍa 12.66

murārike prabodha karilā ei vāṇī
tomāra nikaṭe nirantara āchi āmi

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Gaurāṅga told these words to Murāri Gupta, comforting him, I will always stay near to you.

Caitanya Maṅgala, Madhya-khaṇḍa 12.67

sannyāsa kariba—tāra āchaye vilamba
pariṇāme ye kahila-ei avalamba

Jayapatākā Swami: I will take sannyāsa but there is still some time before I do so. When I have accepted sannyāsa, the words I spoke to you, will be your shelter.

Caitanya Maṅgala, Madhya-khaṇḍa 12.68

ebola baliyā prabhu nijaghare yāya
kātara-antare kathā e locana gāya

Jayapatākā Swami: Saying these words, Lord Gaurāṅga went to His own home. With a sorrowful heart, Locana dāsa sings this song.

So, we see how Lord Gaurāṅga, He is taking time to reassure all His intimate associates, how He will always be with them, how they should see Lord Advaita, Nityānanda, etc. as His special representatives. This way they should always feel comforted. The Lord is going to be sheltering them in so many ways. That He will be with them at all times. So, this is possible since the Lord is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. So, somehow or other He pacified the different devotees.

Thus ends the chapter: Śrīvāsa and Murāri Gupta are Pacified by Lord Viśvambhara.
