20200831 SGVA Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura Vyāsa-pūjā

nama oṁ viṣṇu-pādāya kṛṣṇa-preṣṭhāya bhū-tale
śrīmate bhaktisidhanta-svāmin iti nāmine

śrī gaurakiśora dāsa bābāji ki jaya!

namo bhaktivinodāya sac-cid-ānanda-nāmine
gaura-śakti-svarūpāya rūpānuga-varāya te 

So we heard many devotees talking who very nicely glorified Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura.

And the Sārasvata Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava Saṅga has organized this vyāsa-pūjā celebration of Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura, and hearing all the Vaiṣṇavas, I was very happy.

We know that Lord Caitanyadeva is Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa; He came in the mood and hue of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī.

Before his appearance for 200 years the movement of Lord Caitanya went on very well.

But after that there were many apasampradāyas which sprung up and they corrupted the teachings that Lord Caitanya had given.

Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura appeared and reestablished the movement of Lord Caitanya.

He practiced and preached the teachings very nicely.

Our Guru Mahārāja, Śrīla Abhaya Caraṇāravinda Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda, he desired that all the members of the Sārasvata Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava family should be united together, disciples, grand disciples.

To see that everyone has gathered together and that everyone is unitedly beautifully lecturing and glorifying, I am very grateful for that.

Because the corona virus pandemic, we are having this utsava via Zoom, and various medium of Internet.

Ordinarily, at other times we used to have the temples and maṭhas in Māyāpur and around meeting on this occasion.

This way, in the future, we have been given this opportunity to connect through Facebook, YouTube with the disciples, grand disciples of Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Prabhupāda Ṭhākura, all over the world.

And we should utilize this opportunity to do so. 

Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Prabhupāda Ṭhākura had told his disciples to be united and bring up the Gauḍīya Maṭha.

But, because of various reasons, this did not happen for many years.

There are many maṭhas and temples.

But we are all identified as belonging to one united Sārasvata family.

I hope that in the future, we would all be able to preach together, from the platform of the Sārasvata Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava Saṅga.

And that way Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Prabhupāda Ṭhākura will be happy! And Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura will also be happy! 

Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura reestablished the Nāmahaṭṭa preaching.

I had got a magazine from the Devānanda Gauḍīya Maṭha and saw that he had mentioned something about Nāmahaṭṭa in that.

I contacted Śrīla Bhakti Pramoda Purī Mahārāja and other disciples of Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Prabhupāda Ṭhākura and with their blessings, I re-reestablished the Nāmahaṭṭa preaching once again.

Now in the West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, there are about 3,800 Nāmahaṭṭas.

And all over the world there are thousands and thousands of Nāmahaṭṭas.

Also, Bhakti-vṛkṣas which are small groups of urban Nāmahaṭṭa was established all over the world.

In Russia, there are 555 Bhakti-vṛkṣa groups.

Now, Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura had predicted that the Navadvīpa-maṇḍala Parikramā would bring in devotees from all over the world and they would meet with their devotee brothers and sisters here.

And they will embrace each other and chant Jaya Śacīnandana! Jaya Śacīnandana!

Whatever, Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Prabhupāda Ṭhākura had said, that it may not be during my lifetime, but a day would come when devotees from different parts of the world would come to Navadvīpa for the parikramā.

Anyhow, many things happened now.

I seek the blessings of all that all of us unite and preach.

And this way, we can expand the message of Lord Caitanyadeva.

Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura was a mañjarī who came down from Goloka Vṛndāvana.

This way, he brought the movement of Lord Caitanyadeva on the right path again.

He also brought along Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Prabhupāda Ṭhākura to this world.

And this way, our gurudeva, Śrīla A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, with the order of his guru Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Prabhupāda Ṭhākura, went to the western world.

This way, all over the world, we have about 800 temples, and thousands of thousands of Nāmahaṭṭas and Bhakti-vṛkṣas.

All this was possible by the blessings of Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura.
