Kaliyuga is the age of obstacles. The Lord came here to give the easy way to the conditioned souls. By chanting the Holy names, He said that He would preach in India. He came here to Madurai (haribol), He said He would send His devotee all over the world, so He sent His son Srila Abhay Charan Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

Prabhupada wanted all His followers to take up the role of Diksha Guru. He wanted the Guru parampara to continue. So today some people are taking Initiation, and in the future, many years from now, I will also give initiations. This was the desire of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivendanta Swami Prabhupada. So, now also, each devotee should try to spread the message of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Lord Chaitanya gave the order here in South India. ‘jare dekho tare kaho krsna-upadesa /amara ajna guru hoya tara ei desa ‘ – wherever you, all you need to do is tell them the order of Lord Krishna. So we have the Bhagavad Gita, we have this Srimad Bhagavatam so that the devotees can read the books and tell the message of Krishna. So this initiation in not the end, is not the goal ; it’s a new birth. And in the end, begins with one taking more and more responsibilities. We first get the human birth, and we get the birth from Guru, and then we get another birth by yajnic-janma.
