Jayapatākā Swami: It was told to me that the musical fountain will start soon and I was asked to speak quick. I would like to offer my respects to the Datos, Mahārāja and Kṛpā Sindhu Prabhu and all the other leaders and guests. We are observing the Ratha-yātrā. This festival is celebrating historical observance in Kurukṣetra. During the solar and lunar eclipse millions of people go to Kurukṣetra. 5,000 years ago, Kṛṣṇa, His elder brother Balarāma and younger sister Subhadrā, also went. The professor, Assistant Premier, he was saying how we want peace and harmony. Naturally, in the Bhagavad-gītā (5.29), Kṛṣṇa told us the secret of peace. Bhoktāram yajña tapasāṁ – there is one Lord, He is the receiver of everyone’s prayers, sacrifices, tapasyas. Sarva-loka-maheśvaram – He is the Lord of all planets and all universes. Suhṛdaṁ sarva-bhūtānāṁ, - He is the well-wisher of all living entities. If you know these three things, then you have peace. So, this is the secret. And we see that – here we are having the celebration in the Kuching waterfront and Jagannātha He lives by the side of the sea. So there is a connection there! Haribol!

You see, Nārada Muni, he served Lakṣmī devī and got prasāda from Lord Nārāyaṇa’s plate and he was very happy. He was effulgent. So then he went to Kailāsa and Lord Śiva said, “What happened to you? You are so brilliant!” He told what happened – “I got prasāda from the plate of Lord Nārāyaṇa, given to me by Lakṣmī devī. I never felt more happy in my life!” Lord Śiva said, “I thought you are my friend, you did not keep any prasāda for me!” He looked at his finger and said, “Oh I have a little here.” Lord Śiva took the prasāda and he started dancing in ecstasy!
