20220917 Śrīla Bhakti Cāru Swami Vyāsa-pūjā Homage Offering

Jayapatākā Swami: My humble obeisances to His Holiness Bhakti Cāru Swami. His Holiness Bhakti Cāru Swami had been helping all the saṅkīrtana devotees, and he has been helping ISKCON keep Śrīla Prabhupāda in the center. He was very dedicated to the service of Srīla Prabhupāda. When he first met Śrīla Prabhupāda, he immediately fell in love with Śrīla Prabhupāda and Śrīla Prabhupāda also had a special affectionate relationship with him. Like this, Śrīla Prabhupāda immediately engaged him in different services. Before Śrīla Prabhupāda came, he used to go out and help with the preaching. Like this, he was always offering his service to the GBCs. He would sometimes prepare special prasādam for all the GBCs. He was very expert in preparing nice preparations. He also helped in the preaching in Odisha. Like this, he developed a wonderful temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. When I went there, he gave me a special facility. And he also held a mid-term GBC meeting there. Like this he had a vision that he wanted to always keep Śrīla Prabhupāda in the center. Whatever service he performed for Śrīla Prabhupāda in the last days in Vṛndāvana, that is extra-ordinary, incomparable. HH Bhakti Cāru Swami has immensely helped my disciples and I am very grateful for all the association he gave me and gave others. I don’t know how I can ever repay the association and sevā he gave me. So I regularly pray to Lord Caitanya to please have His mercy on His Holiness Bhakti Cāru Swami’s disciples. And whatever sevā I can do, I try to perform that for his disciples. He was very kind to everybody, and I am very glad that he served Śrīla Prabhupāda. He appeared in the world on the same date that Śrīla Prabhupāda arrived in America. And now in the Guru Services Committee, they have recommended that the candidates to be gurus, they should hear two lectures by His Holiness Bhakti Cāru Swami on the importance of ISKCON.
