20200302 JAYAPATAKA SWAMI GURU MAHARAJ, NAVADVIP MANDAL PARIKRAMA, DAY 5, ADDRESSING SOUTH INDIAN PARTY, NRSIMHAPALLY, SRI MAYAPUR DHAM, INDIA

Sowkyama? (Are you alright? In Tamil) I offer my obeisances respectfully, to the lotus feet of His Divine Grace Srila Abhaycaran Bhakti Vedanta Swami Prabhupada!

So now you are in the sacred place of Nrsimhapally. It is in the far east of Navadvip dham. And, Lord Nrsimhadeva was flying over Navadvip dham. And then, when He saw that this is His eternal abode, He landed here! This place is called Devapally also. Because, when Hiranyakasipu was killed by Lord Nrsimhadeva, the Lord was very angry, and no one but Prahlad maharaj could approach Him. And He was so angry that the  devas could not approach Him. But here in Navadvip dham the devas constructed cottages, and with the devis, they cooked and served the Lord as Nrsimhadeva! Because this dham of Navadvip is one of extreme mercy, so Lord Nrsimhadeva was approachable here, but in other places He was not so easily approachable. The lake you see is non-different from Mandakini. It is also sacred, take some water and put on your head. Probably many people have spoken about Lord Nrsimhadeva, so I won’t speak about Him, as such.

In some ancient history book it is said that some maharaj will come and build a temple in this place. So, the Bhakti Vedanta Charity Trust has constructed an extension of the kirtan hall to make it twice as big. So we hope that everyone goes and sees this special deity of Nrsimhadeva. Nrsimhadeva removes all obstacles of the devotee, on the path of devotional service.

In South India, there is Ahobilam where there are nine temples of Lord Nrsimhadeva. But here in the Nrsimha temple, He is much more approachable, and He gives His mercy out, freely! I hope that all of you get the mercy of Lord Nrsimhadeva, and are thus able to crossover all the difficulties in your devotional service.

You are in the island of Godrumadvip, it is the island of chanting. And you are now at the Nrsimhapally and you will be heading to Hari Hara Kshetra, where is the temple of Lord Visnu and Siva, combined. There are many temples in Godrumadvip. So I hope that you have a special ananda in Godrumadvip!

And, today I had a sample of the South Indian prasadam – I had some  idiappam! This was a favorite of Bhakti Vrajendranandana Swami of Malaysia. And the Sodhi was very special! So I was very inspired to have the South Indian prasadam, and I was remembering Bhakti Vrajendranandana Swami! So, I hope that you are liking the Navadvip parikrama. And that, today you will be inspired to chant Hare Kṛṣṇa! I hope that every group will send in their books scores, how many books they distributed today. Thank you very much! Hare Kṛṣṇa! Nanri!  Gauuuuuranga! Gauuuuuuuuuuuranga! Gauuuuuuuuuuuuuuranngaaaaaa! Haribol! Nitai!
