9 Jan 2019|Duration: 00:06:24|English|Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Book|Chennai, India

The following is a reading from the new Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Book by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja on January 9th,2019 in Chennai, India.

Normally we have class early, 8 to 9 but it is already 9. Today we had physiotherapy and voice therapy. We had meeting with HH Bhanu Swami, Revati Raman and the Investigation team that went to Malaysia. Then we talked about the key governments set up for the South Indian committee Now I am told that a new car has been donated, which is downstairs.

He is the personification of vipralambha, separation from Lord Krishna, in the mood of Radharani. So even His mother was amazed that He was weeping so intensely, that it seemed like the Ganges was flowing out of His house. And He would start quivering and falling on the ground in ecstatic love for Kṛṣṇa, and no matter how many devotees tried to hold Him, He could not be held. So everyone was amazed that He had such a great ecstatic mood. So Śrīvāsa Ṭhākura of the Pañca Tattva came to His house. And He asked, people say that I am sick, they say I have mental disease! Do I have it? He (Srivas Thakur) said, what are Your symptoms? He said when I hear the chanting of Hare Kṛṣṇa or when I chant, I cannot control - sometimes I weep, sometimes I laugh, my hairs stand on end, sometimes I faint, My voice is choked up, all these things are happening to Me! Do I have a disease? Śrīvāsa said, yes, I want that disease also! If Brahmā and Lord Śiva wanted that, they wanted to feel separation from Lord Krishna, and You have that highest benediction. So he told mother Śacī, your Son is not insane, He is blessed with love of Godhead. He has pure kṛṣṇa-prema. So we were supposed to read His pastimes chanting kīrtana in His house. But it is too late! So I will see you tomorrow!
