20201219 Addressing International JSSS Meeting

Following is an address given at the International JSSS meeting via Zoom by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja on December 19th, 2020 in Śrīdhāma Māyāpur, India.

nama oṁ viṣṇu-pādāya kṛṣṇa-preṣṭhāya bhū-tale
śrīmate bhaktivedānta-svāmin iti nāmine
namas te sārasvate deve gaura-vāṇī-pracāriṇe
nirviśeṣa-śūnyavādi-pāścātya-deśa-tāriṇe

Jagannātha Kīrtanānanda showed me this JSSS program. And previously we may be just doing meeting and hearing from different people speak. But this concept is a bit more expansive. As you see they are presenting various headings: like care, communication, meeting, so many things. I just say… recently I have been inaugurated the Disciple and Devotee Care program in Māyāpur. If each JSSS has this type of advanced program, then that will be very nice interface. And we could take care of the disciples, that could be both dīkṣā and śīkṣa. Anyway, it is a very nice program that he is presenting. I just want to endorsement it that it very ambitious and useful direction to go. So we try to help people, since I want to see everybody gets back to Godhead. And certainly you can help me in that and we want to regain people who somehow gone distant; take care of all the devotees in their area. So previously I thought, may be that JSSS would be a process of something, somewhere, where devotees can hear from different speakers. But in UK and Ireland, they put together a kind of expanded JSSS. And it is very inspirational. And that would definitely help me a lot to take care of the devotees and inform me, for those who need special care. They could inform me. This is a beginning, but it shows us a direction, it is a kind of thinking out of the box. So, if you have any further ideas that also will be useful. Hare Kṛṣṇa.
