20231110 Addressing Sannyāsa Award Ceremony

The following is a Sanyas Initiation Class given by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja on November 10th,2023 in Śrī Dhāma Māyāpur, India.

mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-guruṁ dīna-tāraṇam
paramānandaṁ mādhavaṁ śrī caitanya iśvaram

Hariḥ oṁ tat sat!

Jayapatākā Swami: Today we are awarding sannyāsa to Trailokyanātha dāsa. The new sannyāsīs name is Bhakti Nilachal Swami Maharaja. You heard from the Temple President about the different services he has been rendering. First, we offered all the articles to all the Deities. Now, we give him the sannyāsa cloth and the pūjārī, he chants the required mantras, and sanctifies the kaupīna, daṇḍa and different objects.
