Anuvāda: Yini karuṇāra vāridhi, yini sandhyākālīna sūryera nyāya raktimavarṇa ramaṇīya vasana dhāraṇa karena, sei ujjvala, akhaṇḍa, premāmṛtamaya, sāttvikādi-bhāvadyuti-samvalita, niṣkalaṅka, manohara o vismayakara vaidagdhyādi catuḥṣaṣṭi-rasakalā-viśiṣṭa, śacīgarbha-kṣīrasindhu-sambhūta, parama-sundara, śrī-caitanyacandra tomādera hṛdayākāśe udita haun.

Translation: He, who is the ocean of mercy, who wears a wonderful garment that is red colored like the rising or setting sun, let that moon endowed with the bright, limitless, nectarean loving transcendental ecstatic mood and luster and endowed with the enchanting and wonderful skills of sixty-four arts, the moon which has risen from the milk ocean of Śacī’s womb, the supremely beautiful moon of Lord Caitanya, rise in the sky of your heart.

Jayapatākā Swami: So, this was when Lord Caitanya was a sannyāsī. His cloth was reddish like the rising or setting sun and He is addressed as Śrī Caitanya-candra, because He is endowed with the bright, limitless, loving, ecstatic mood. He is expert in the 64-arts and this is manifested from the milk ocean of the womb of Mother Śacī. Lord Caitanya, He had the 64-arts. He was expert in all the arts. Lord Caitanya was brilliant like a moon and the author is praying that Lord Caitanya may rise-up in everybody. In other words, Lord Caitanya, He is filled with transcendental qualities and people would be filled with these transcendental qualities. So, the devotees should understand how wonderful is Lord Caitanya. That the devotees are praying that He may rise in the heart.

Śrī Caitanya-candrāmṛtam Verse 16

uccaiḥsvare mahā-mantra-kīrtanakārī gaurahari—

vadhnan premabharaprakampitakaro granthīn kaṭīḍorakaiḥ
saṅkhyātuṁ nijaloka-maṅgala-hare-kṛṣṇeti nāmnāṁ japan
aśrusnātamukhaḥ svameva hi jagannāthaṁ didṛkṣurgatā-
yātairgauratanurvilocanamudaṁ tanvan hariḥ pātu vaḥ

Anuvāda: Svīya akhilaloka-maṅgala ‘hare-kṛṣṇa’-nāma japa karite karite, evaṁ nāma-saṁkhyā rakṣāra janya svīya kaṭīsūtre granthi dite dite premātiśayavaśataḥ yāṅhāra karayugala kampita haiteche, yini āpanārai abhinnarūpa śrī-jagannāthadevera darśana-lālasāya aśrusnāta-mukhe gamanāgamana kariyā, loka-locanānanda vistāra karitechena, sei gaurāṅga śrī-hari tomādigake rakṣā karuna.

Translation: He, whose hands are trembling due to great love while binding knots on the string around His waist in order to keep count the number of japa of His own world auspicious ‘Hare Kṛṣṇa’ names, and who expands the happiness to the eyes of the people while He is coming and going with tears bathing His face eager to see Lord Jagannātha, who is non-different from Himself, may that Gaurāṅga Hari protect you all.

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Caitanya, He would regularly go to have the darśana of Lord Jagannātha. And thinking of His Lord, His eyes would be pouring tears, and He would be counting japa. So, with this He would give happiness to all the people. So, Lord Caitanya was filled in ecstatic mood to worship Lord Jagannātha. So, He chanted japa, He chanted the names of Hare Kṛṣṇa! He would always be engaged in thinking of Lord Jagannātha. So, the devotees were very happy to see Lord Caitanya whose eyes were filled with tears. So, in this way if we think of Lord Gaurāṅga all the time, then we will also be protected.
