The following is a Śrī Navadvīpa Maṇḍala Parikramā Adhivāsa Address given by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja on february 22nd,2023 in Śrī Dhāma Māyāpur, India.

mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-guruṁ dīna-tāraṇam
paramānandaṁ mādhavaṁ śrī caitanya iśvaram

Hariḥ oṁ tat sat!

Jayapatākā Swami: We are starting the adhivāsa of the parikramā here at the Yogapīṭha. Here at Antardvīpa, the parikramā starts. So since we are having eight parties, they are all going in a circular way and they end up in Māyāpur at the mahā-milan place. That is in Antardvīpa. They start in Antardvīpa and end in Antardvīpa. Haribol! So, every party will spend some time in Antardvīpa but here we want to see the main Deities, the birthplace of Lord Caitanya, we have the blessings of Vṛddha-Śiva, who is the Protector of the holy dhāma. He is behind the birthplace of Lord Caitanya. So, in this way, we also see the Deities of Gaura-Gadādhara of Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura. They have the samādhi of the mother of Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura, underneath the Deity. And there is also Lakṣmī Narasiṁhadeva. Śrīla Prabhupāda did not appreciate in putting Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura at the entrance. He thought that Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura deserved a more respectable place.

This place is called Yogapīṭha because Lord Brahmā is on top of a lotus flower. So this place, Lord Brahmā came and worshiped Lord Gaurāṅga. After he stole the cows, calves and cowherd boys, Lord Brahmā was humbled by Lord Kṛṣṇa. So he heard that Kṛṣṇa will come again in Kali-yuga as Gaurāṅga! So, he prayed to Lord Gaurāṅga. Brahmadeva sat here and prayed to Lord Gaurāṅga! Gaurāṅga! Gaurāṅga! Gaurāṅga! Gaurāṅga Gaurāṅga Gaurāṅga Gaurāṅga Gaurāṅga Gaurāṅga Gaurāṅga Gaurāṅga Gaurāṅga Gaurāṅga Gaurāṅga! Here Lord Gaurāṅga appeared to Lord Brahmā and He asked, “What do you want?” Lord Brahmā said, “Already my second half, the dvitīya-prahara of my life is over. Still I am committing offence. I want Your blessings to not commit any offence again. That I can have love of Kṛṣṇa. I heard You are going out freely, that I will be humble and I will be Your associate in this pastime.”

Lord Gaurāṅga said, “Tathastaḥ! So be it! You will chant 300,000 holy names a day of the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra. By that you will awaken your love for Kṛṣṇa. You will be My associate and to teach you humility, you will be born in a non-Hindu family. And you will be known as the Nāmācārya. You will have the name of Haridāsa Ṭhākura!” Haribol! This way, Haridāsa Ṭhākura is actually Brahmā Haridasa. So this is the Antardvīpa, the place where this happened. So I will let others speak and please circumambulate this place and see the different holy places.

Hare Kṛṣṇa!
