20230212 Addressing Līlā Mohana Kṛṣṇa Dāsa and Antaraṅga Tulasī Devī Dāsī's Wedding Ceremony

Jayapatākā Swami: I am very happy to be on the marriage of Antaraṅga Tulasī Devī Dāsī and Līlā Mohana Lakṣmaṇa dāsa. Vaṇakkam!

The purpose of life is to go back home back to Godhead. Husband and wife as a team help each other and serve Kṛṣṇa and fulfil guru and Kṛṣṇa’s wishes. And by keeping Kṛṣṇa in the center you achieve all success. The husband and wife, they worship their household Deities. Praying to the Lord and perform garbhādāna-saṁskāra to have Kṛṣṇa conscious, long live, healthy, su-putra.

I saw a drama in Chennai by the Bhakti-vṛkṣa children. Two children, playing Yamadūtas, one child was playing Yamarāja. Actually, Yamadūtas were complaining to Yamarāja, “These Kṛṣṇa conscious families, they worship their home Deities, eat kṛṣṇa-prasāda, they chant Hare Kṛṣṇa, and they read Gītā, and Bhāgavatam, we can’t enter the house even, we cannot take them to hell to torture them. If every family become like this, we will out of our job!” Who here want to have some mercy on Yamadūta? Who here would like to give a vacation? [Haribol!!!]

Devotee: Permanent vacation.

Jayapatākā Swami: Message for the wedlock new couple. Chant Hare Kṛṣṇa and keep your family Kṛṣṇa conscious. And treat each other nice. Actually, serving Kṛṣṇa is a lot of fun and happiness. Normally, the families they don’t think about Kṛṣṇa much. If you do good karma, they go up and bad karma they go down, then again and again you take birth. But if you chant Hare Kṛṣṇa and serving Kṛṣṇa, then you don’t have to take birth again. Both these Husband and wife are very Kṛṣṇa conscious and we hope they will help each other to go back Kṛṣṇa. Līlā Mohana Lakṣmaṇa dāsa: Hare Kṛṣṇa Guru Mahārāja! Our family members and devotees are come here, they are around 60-70 members. And we want them to chant Gaurāṅga and Nityānanda in front of you! As a gratitude for you! Can you all chant Gaurāṅga and Nityānanda loudly!

Jayapatākā Swami: It is a very holy place. This is known as Sīmantadvīpa. Here we have Lord Jagannātha Baladeva Subhadrā and Sudarśana cakra. These Deities are self-manifested. There was one blind devotee that They have appeared to, when they installed and when they bath the blind devotee gained his eye-sight. There are many more līlās and miracles They have performed. So you all here, it is very wonderful. This marriage ceremony is performed in front of these Deities in this temple. So, lets invoke Their blessings on the newly wedded couple.
