Jayapatākā Swami: “Your master's actions are not outside your knowledge. Understanding them may your body be consoled within your heart.”

Caitanya Maṅgala, Madhya-khaṇḍa, 14.34

prabodhiyā saba bhakta ekatra haiyā
vicāra karaye gaurācāṁdera lāgiyā

Jayapatākā Swami: Having consoled Viṣṇupriyā in this way, all the devotees met together and considered what to do regarding Lord Gauracandra. So, the separation of mother Śacī and Viṣṇu-priyā is heart rendering. It reminds how Mother Yaśodā and the gopīs in Vṛndāvana felt when Kṛṣṇa went to Mathurā. So this separation is overwhelming and we see the different aspects of the Lords pastimeṣ we know that Bhagavān he has six qualities and one of this is total renunciation he can renounce anything but these devotees they find it very difficult to renounce Him. And although He can walk away, they keep Him bound in their hearts. It is like the song, Caurāṣṭakam, Bilvamaṅgala Ṭhākura, he said I will keep You imprisoned in my heart and You are a thief. He is known as a butter thief, You steal various things. You stole the heart of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, so I will keep You in my heart as a prisoner. So, like that, Lord Caitanya had stolen the hearts of all His devotees in Navadvīpa. When He left, they felt overwhelmed. Hare Kṛṣṇa!
