Jayapatākā Swami: Hearing these words Dhruva’s mother cried and said,My dear son I never worshiped Lord Kṛṣṇa, I am very unfortunate.”

Jayapatākā Swami: Don’t cry, don’t cry, my dear son, if your stepmother calls you the son of an unfortunate lady, or calls you the son of a maidservant, or insults you.

Jayapatākā Swami: My dear son, Dhruva. You took birth from the womb of an unfortunate woman. I never served Lord Kṛṣṇa. You are not loved by your father, and you wish to sit on a throne. But you are born from a woman who is unfortunate. We see how Sunīti is lamenting, she is in a situation where she is a co-wife and the king, her husband, favors the other wife. So, in this way, she feels she is unfortunate. This is a very difficult situation for her, and so she is explaining this to her son, Dhruva.
