20220416 6th Tribal Convention Address

The following is an address given by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja on April 16th, 2022 in Śrī Dhāma Māyāpur,India.

Lord Kṛṣṇa has Himself created the art of dancing and the goal of our life is to please Kṛṣṇa. We have become conditioned souls, though we want sense gratification – after dharma, artha, kāma, mokṣa, comes kṛṣṇa-prema. Kṛṣṇa-prema is such a thing that pleases Kṛṣṇa. Through this we can achieve perfection of life. I hope that all of you are experiencing this that how through devotional service to Lord Kṛṣṇa one can attain complete bliss. And this happiness is not at all comparable to the happiness got from sense gratification. Whatever we do, we do for the pleasure of Kṛṣṇa. This way the Lord feels happy. In Malaysia there are some ādivāsīs. There they believe in the name of Lord Kṛṣṇa. They believe that the Lord keeps a feather in His hair. And He dances with the ladies, gopīs. This way, the pastime of the Lord which is dancing with the gopīs, is a Vṛndāvana-līlā. Tomorrow there will be an initiation ceremony at 10 am. I will come to the pandal for that program.
