20220415 Addressing Ajmer Devotees

Following is the Address to Ajmer Devotees by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami on 15th April 2022, in Śrī Māyāpur dhāma, India

♫ Jayapatākā Swami: [He passed 24 years in Jagannātha Purī.] So 24 years He was a gṛhastha and for 24 years a sannyāsī. So, He was giving out love of Kṛṣṇa very freely. He wasn’t considering who is qualified, who is not qualified. He gave out mercy freely. I am happy that you have come to Māyāpur dhāma. Since when are you here? So this spiritual dhāma of nine islands equal to the nine processes of devotional service. So any service you do there is worth more than a thousand times. So we are trying to build the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium. So you have all seen it. I am overseeing the Exhibits section. I am glad that you came to Māyāpur and gave some of you blessings.

Today the three-day Tribal Care began. We have hundreds of tribal care units all over Eastern India. These are simple people, the tribals. But they have come here for three days and some of them will take initiation. They will hear the glories of Lord Caitanya. This temple you saw today, that was predicted by Lord Nityānanda. In Jaipur in the Rādhā Govinda temple on the two pillars you would have seen the pictures of Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityānanda.

Locana dāsa Ṭhākura had written a song, parama karuṇa, pahū dui jana nitāi gauracandra. These two brothers came to the material world to distribute mercy. And he said that Lord Caitanya was saba avatāra-sāra śiromaṇi kevala ānanda-kanda. That means that there are many paths, like yajña, meditation etc. but Lord Caitanya’s path is chanting the name of God and dancing. Because the name of Kṛṣṇa and the person Kṛṣṇa are non-different. So by chanting His name one gets all mercy. Nāmnām akāri bahudhā nija-sarva-śaktiḥ: Lord Caitanya, in the name of Kṛṣṇa all the śakti, He put there. That is why we are encouraging to chant the holy name. So, we want to make Lord Caitanya famous, because He gives us a process which is simple. So, because He gives out mercy like no one ever before. Even Kṛṣṇa Himself, He doesn’t give out such mercy. To get Kṛṣṇa’s mercy you have to surrender to Kṛṣṇa. But Lord Caitanya gives mercy even if you don’t surrender!
