bangla bolbo, ba Ingresi bolbo?

Devotees: Bangla!

Sujitendriya Prabhu: Will I speak English or Bengali

Jayapataka Swami: kalke bangla bolbo.

Sujitendriya Prabhu: Tomorrow I will speak Bengali.

Jayapataka Swami: We have guests here from all over the world, all over India. (translation) The job of the guru is (translation) to instill the service attitude to the Supreme Personality of Godhead in the devotees (translation) Prabhupada… Srila Prabhupada, he went all over the world, spreading this service attitude. (translation) Srila Prabhupada ki,

Devotees: Jaya!

Jayapataka Swami: And we are trying to help him in this regard. (translation) He was asked, “What is your mission?” He said… Srila Prabhupada said, “I have a simple mission.” (translation) “I want to change the way that people think.” (translation) Most of the people are busy in trying to serve their senses. (translation) That’s called as godasa. (translation) But Srila Prabhupada wanted that people would become Gosvami, or controllers of the senses. (translation) Like in this adhivasa kirtan, (translation) There’s a refrain, (translation) ananda sima nai.

Repeater: anandera sima nai

Translator: anandera sima nai

(musical accompaniment begins)

Jayapataka Swami: There’s no limit to the spiritual bliss. (translation) ananda sima nai (musical accompaniment begins)

Devotees: anandera sima nai

Jayapataka Swami: anandera sima nai

Devotees: anandera sima nai

Jayapataka Swami: There’s another line that says unhapiness goes far away. (translation) nirananda dure jabe. (musical accompaniment begins)

Devotees: nirananda dure jabe.

Jayapataka Swami: nirananda dure yabe.

Devotees: nirananda dure yabe.

Jayapataka Swami: anandera sima nai

Devotees: anandera sima nai

Jayapataka Swami: nirananda dure yai.

Devotees: nirananda dure yai.

Jayapataka Swami: There’s no limit to their spiritual bliss. (translation) and the unhapiness goes far away. (translation) Someone wrote to me, I think today (translation) “Sometimes I feel…” this person wrote, “…I feel fear!” (translation) “But if I seek Krishna, I will lose my material happiness.” (translation) “How can I get rid of this fear?” (translation) “And then if I get love of Krishna, I’ll be in great separation, great suffering.” (translation) “Like this, I worry and feel fear.” (translation)

But actually the happiness one feels in serving Krishna is unlimited. (translation) In the Bhagavatam, it’s said how Lord Krishna with some rsis, He simultaneously went to the house, the palace of the king Bahulasva, and the house of poor brahmana, Srutadeva. (translation) Bahulasva offered a kings welcome (translation) Chappanna-bhoga, in golden vessels (translation) give some jewels (translation), cows to the brahmanas (translation) decorated with golden ornaments (translation) and the same time as that was going on, (translation) Krishna went to the house of the house of the poor brahmana, Srutadeva (translation) and he didn’t have enough asanas. (translation) He had to borrow some asana. (translation) and he… with his wife, he bathed Krishna’s and the rsis’ feet. (translation)

He didn’t have any jewels, so he offered everyone a lotus. (translation) He didn’t have uh, chappanna-bhoga. His wife prepared rice, dal and sabji. (translation) He served it on a banana leaf. (translation) But he was so happy that Krishna came to his house (laughing) He was so happy. He started to dance. He started to dance. (translation)

Kamala Gopala Prabhu: Haribol! Haribol! Haribol! Uludhvani, Haridhvani, Sankadhvani

Jayapataka Swami: Anandera sima nai

Devotees: Anandera sima nai

Jayapataka Swami: Nirananda dure jai

Devotees: Nirananda dure jai

Jayapataka Swami: Anandera sima nai

Devotees: Anandera sima nai

Jayapataka Swami: Nirananda dure jai

Devotees: Nirananda dure jai

Jayapataka Swami: So Krishna is so kind, (translation) He’s so wonderful. (translation) When Pariksit Maharaja, he was hearing these pastimes of Lord Krishna from Sukadeva Gosvami (translation) he became overwhelmed with ecstasy. (translation) And he said to Sukadeva Gosvami (translation), “What else did my wonderful Lord do?” (laughing) (translation) So we shouldn’t have any fear (translation) that somehow if we love Krishna (translation) that we’re going to suffer. (translation)

This material world (translation) is a place of suffering. (translation) duhkhalayam asasvatam. But, the spiritual world is a place of unlimited spiritual enjoyment. (translation) Because everyone there is trying to serve the Lord. (translation) In ISKCON, we have many gurus (translation) We may accept one as our diksa guru. (translation) But we may have many siksa gurus. (translation) And we want to learn from all of them, how to serve Krishna. (translation)

Lord Caitanya came down to this material world to teach us how to love Krishna. (translation) Krishna is teaching us how to love Krishna. (translation) Prabhupada said that, “Just like a teacher, (translation) he takes a chalk in his hand (translation) and he writes on the blackboard.” (translation) So in this way he’s showing others how to write. (translation) In this way, Lord Caitanya, He was teaching how to love Krishna. (translation)

When He went to Gaya, (translation) to offer the pindi to his father, (translation) and he met with Isvara Puri Maharaja, (translation) He took diksa, (translation) and He started to chant the Hare Krishna mantra in ecstasy. (translation) Then, in Kanai Natashala, He saw Krishna. (translation) And Krishna embraced Him. (translation) And He tried to catch Krishna. (translation) But Krishna ran away. (translation)

So Krishna Caitanya, He was rolling on the ground. (translation) and when He came back to Navadvipa (translation) He was changed. (translation) When He saw the tamal tree (translation) He was reminded of Krishna and He embraced the tree. (translation) He told devotees (translation) said, “You don’t know what it’s like (translation) to have Krishna (translation) and then to lose Him (translation). From that day on (translation) He was manifesting His gaura-hari lila (translation) and soon Lord Nitai came and joined Him. (translation)

His order was every human being should help Him distribute love of Krishna. (translation) So who’s ready to help Lord Caitanya give out Krishna-prema? To help Prabhupada? (translation)

Devotees: Haribol!

Kamala Gopala Prabhu: Ulu-dhvani, hari-dhvani, sanka-dhvani! Haribol, Haribol!

Devotees: Haribol!

Jayapataka Swami: One couple, they were only practicing Krishna consciousness for 1 ½ years (translation) so in the first six months, they made ten devotees. (translation) In the next one year, they made twenty devotees (translation) So we want everyone (translation) to teach people (translation) how to have a service attitude to Krishna (translation). That’s why the guru is respected, because he’s helping the Lord in this confidential service. (translation) Therefore we respect all gurus (translation) whoever’s teaching us how to serve Lord Krishna. (translation)

Hare Krishna.

(applause)

Jayapataka Swami: Whoever else is watching on Mayapur TV, all best wishes to you all. (translation)

Devotee: Haribol!
