[Discussing the chronology of the pastimes]

Jayapatākā Swami: (0:02) Caitanya-līlā being 12(?? 0:07) I think that the timing is not correct. (0:15) [Not Clear]. (0:45) It was a little bit interesting reading today but [Not Clear] (0:55) It says that somewhere around the paugaṇḍa-līlā, Lord Caitanya was studying, Viśvarūpa took sannyāsa, right? (1:15) (1:16) And that then they stopped Lord Caitanya from reading and they were heading by Nadia sometimes they force him to write and read (1:35) (1:41) That’s what The Caitanya-Bhāgavata says. I didn’t have other scriptures (1:51) I remember from the past that, it’s kind of vague in my mind… also the pastimes with Viśvarūpa started up from Lord Caitanya’s childhood. It said he was digambara (2:30) he was basically without cloth, nāstika, and carrying his blanket. Called out his brother, “come take prasāda”, and that ended up with Viśvarūpa taking sannyāsa, so that was like 6-7 years period that was covered. Whether you want to cut that up, or present it along one punch? (3:25)

Vidvān Gaurāṅga Dāsa: We can put this along with Caitanya-Bhāgavata, it’s about 100 verses. We can also put it all in the same order unless the chronology, the sequence appears to differ in the Caitanya-Bhāgavata, we can follow that. Cc is the first consideration for sequence…. (4:12)

Jayapatākā Swami: (4:13) That was my initial hearing other scriptures. (4:28). (4:29) Since it’s also the mendicant brāhmaṇa who offered his food to Gopāla, you may divide that in half. One is young, and one when he is older. When he’s young, He has… (??5:14) in his courtyard, and older, just His association is so much appreciated by the Vaiṣṇavas. (5:26). (5:27) And then what they read to me didn’t really tell about the Jagannātha Miśra saw his boy growing prior to his getting married and he wants to take sannyāsa. Just that he took sannyāsa. (6:03)

Vidvān Gaurāṅga Dāsa: In Caitanya-Maṅgala there is some further discussion about his sannyāsa. There are about more than 30 verses in Caitanya-Maṅgala.

Jayapatākā Swami: (6:27) We should divide it up in the proper way. It’s like Lord Nityānanda, His childhood pastimes are very important. So it shows how much alive was the whole village. Then the sannyāsa came when he was 12 and taken him. Was 2 things where he will put the others first. You can put together or separate. The birth of Lord Nityānanda and may be 1 and then the youthful pastimes 2. (7:31) and either when all the sannyāsa are and that too or…. So this has to be worked out and was that it? (8:03)
