The following is a classgiven by His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Maharaj on June10th 1997 in Brisbane Australia the class begins with the reading from the Chaitanya Chartamrita Madhya Lila Chapter 25 verse 270 to 283.
“śraddhākari’ eilīlāśuna, bhakta-gaṇaihāraprasādepāibācaitanya-caraṇa” All devotees should hear about ŚrīCaitanyaMahāprabhu’s pastimes with faith and love. By the grace of the Lord, one can thus attain shelter at His lotus feet.
“ihāraprasādepāibākṛṣṇa-tattva-sārasarva-śāstra-siddhānteraihāṅpāibāpāra” By understanding the pastimes of ŚrīCaitanyaMahāprabhu, Hare Krishna one can understand the truth about Kṛṣṇa. By understanding Kṛṣṇa, one can understand the limit of all knowledge described in various revealed scriptures. As stated in BG 7.3 “manuṣyāṇāṁsahasreṣukaścidyatatisiddhayeyatatāmapisiddhānāṁkaścinmāṁvettitattvataḥ” “Out of many thousands among men, one may endeavor for perfection, and of those who have achieved perfection, hardly one knows Me in truth.”
It is very difficult to understand Kṛṣṇa, but if one tries to understand Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam through CaitanyaMahāprabhu’s bhakti movement, one will undoubtedly understand Kṛṣṇa very easily. If somehow or other one understands Kṛṣṇa, his life is successful. Again, as Kṛṣṇa states in the Bhagavad-gītā (4.9): “ janma karma ca me divyamevaṁyovettitattvataḥtyaktvādehaṁpunarjanmanaitimāmeti so ’rjuna” One who knows the transcendental nature of My appearance and activities does not, upon leaving the body, take his birth again in this material world, but attains My eternal abode, O Arjuna.
“kṛṣṇa-līlāamṛta-sāra, tāraśataśatadhāra, daśa-dike vaheyāhāhaite se caitanya-līlāhaya, sarovaraakṣaya, mano-haṁsacarāha’ tāhāte”The pastimes of Lord Chaitanya or rather Lord Kṛṣṇa are the essence of all nectar, they flow in hundreds of rivers in all directions. The pastimes of ŚrīCaitanyaMahāprabhu are an eternal reservoir. The essence of spiritual knowledge is found in the pastimes of ŚrīCaitanyaMahāprabhu, which are identical with the pastimes of Lord Kṛṣṇa. This is the essence of knowledge. If knowledge does not include the understanding of ŚrīCaitanyaMahāprabhu and Kṛṣṇa, it is simply superfluous. By ŚrīKrishna CaitanyaMahāprabhu’s grace, the nectar of ŚrīKṛṣṇa’s pastimes is flowing in different directions in hundreds and thousands of rivers. One should not think that the pastimes of ŚrīKrishna Caitanya are different from Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes. It is said, śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya, rādhā-kṛṣṇanaheanya: “Lord CaitanyaMahāprabhu is a combination of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa.” without understanding the pastimes one cannot understand Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa. ŚrīlaNarottamadāsaṬhākura therefore sings, rūpa-raghunātha-padehaibeākuti/ kabehāmabujhaba se yugalapirīti: “When shall I become very eager to study the books left by the six Gosvāmīs?
“bhakta-gaṇa, śuna mora dainya-vacanatomā-sabāra pada-dhūli, aṅgevibhūṣaṇakari’,kichumuñikaroṅnivedana”With all humility, I submit myself to the lotus feet of all of you devotees, taking the dust from your feet as my bodily ornaments. Now, my dear devotees, please hear one thing more from me.KrishnadasKaviraj is taking the dust from your lotus feet if you are qualified to give him dust of your feet he is written like that he is so respectful that people who are reading his literature he thinks they are worthy of taking dust of lotus feet.
“kṛṣṇa-bhakti-siddhānta-gaṇa, yātepraphullapadma-vana, tāramadhukari’ āsvādanaprema-rasa-kumuda-vane, praphullitarātri-dine, tātecarāo mano-bhṛṅga-gaṇa”Devotional service to Kṛṣṇa is exactly like a pleasing, jubilant forest of lotus flowers wherein there is ample honey. I request everyone to taste this honey. If all the mental speculators bring the bees of their minds into this forest of lotus flowers and jubilantly enjoy ecstatic love of Kṛṣṇa day and night, their mental speculation will be completely transcendentally satisfied.
“nānā-bhāvera bhakta-jana, haṁsa-cakravāka-gaṇa, yāte sabe’ karena vihara kṛṣṇa-kelisumṛṇāla, yāhāpāisarva-kāla, bhakta-haṁsakarayeāhāra” The devotees who have a relationship with Kṛṣṇa are like the swans and cakravāka birds who play in that forest of lotus flowers. The buds of those lotus flowers are the pastimes of Kṛṣṇa, and they are edibles for the swanlike devotees. Lord ŚrīKṛṣṇa is always engaged in His transcendental pastimes; therefore the devotees, following in the footsteps of ŚrīCaitanyaMahāprabhu, can always eat those lotus buds, for they are the pastimes of the Lord.
“sei sarovaregiyā, haṁsa-cakravākahañā, sadātāhāṅkarahavilāsakhaṇḍibesakaladuḥkha, pāibāparamasukha, anāyāsehabepremollāsa”All the devotees of ŚrīCaitanyaMahāprabhu should go to that lake and, remaining always under the shelter of the lotus feet of ŚrīCaitanyaMahāprabhu, become swans and cakravāka birds in those celestial waters. They should go on rendering service to Lord ŚrīKṛṣṇa and enjoy life perpetually. In this way all miseries will be diminished, the devotees will attain great happiness, and there will be jubilant love of God.
“eiamṛtaanukṣaṇa, sādhumahānta-megha-gaṇa, viśvodyānekarevariṣaṇatātephaleamṛta-phala, bhakta khāyanirantara, tāraśeṣejīye jaga-jana”The devotees who have taken shelter of the lotus feet of ŚrīCaitanyaMahāprabhu take the responsibility for distributing nectarean devotional service all over the world. They are like clouds pouring water on the ground that nourishes the fruit of love of Godhead in this world. The devotees eat that fruit to their hearts’ content, and whatever remnants they leave are eaten by the general populace. Thus they live happily.
“caitanya-līlā — amṛta-pūra, kṛṣṇa-līlā — sukarpūra, duhemili’ hayasumādhuryasādhu-guru-prasāde, tāhāyeiāsvāde, sei jānemādhurya-prācurya” The pastimes of ŚrīCaitanyaMahāprabhu are full of nectar, and the pastimes of Lord Kṛṣṇa are like camphor. When one mixes these, they taste very sweet. By the mercy of the pure devotees, whoever tastes them can understand the depths of that sweetness. You asked for something sweet.
“ye līlā-amṛta vine, khāyayadi anna-pāne, tabebhakteradurbalajīvanayāra eka-bindu-pāne, utphullitatanu-mane, hāse, gāya, karayenartana”Men become strong and stout by eating sufficient grains, but the devotee who simply eats ordinary grains but does not taste the transcendental pastimes of Lord CaitanyaMahāprabhu and Kṛṣṇa gradually becomes weak and falls down from the transcendental position. However, if one drinks but a drop of the nectar of Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes, his body and mind begin to bloom, and he begins to laugh, sing and dance. Purport by SrilaPrabhupada- All the devotees connected with the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement must read all the books that have been translated (the Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, Bhagavad-gītā and others); otherwise, after some time, they will simply eat, sleep and fall down from their position. Thus they will miss the opportunity to attain an eternal, blissful life of transcendental pleasure.
So here SrilaPrabhupada he says that all the devotees connected with the Krishna Consciousness movement all the devotees mean everybody temple devotees, congregational devotees, old devotees, new devotees men women young old you name it all the devotees they are meant to read Chaitanya Charnamrita, SrimadBhagvatam and Bhagavad Gita and other books Prabupada translated. So Prabhupada when he was going to America from India by jaladut he was feeling lot of inconvenient because of the rocking of the boat and when he, he said he got some sustenance spiritual strength simply be reading Chaitanya Charnamrita. Chaitanya Charnamrita is pure nectar these verses explain why how we can get that nectar, Prabhupada’s example is that one who takes lot of chapatis or grains can felt very strong so these books are like deserts like nectar and this transcendental practice is just ordinary things are not enough we need also to take the dessert, we need to take the nectar which is Chaitanya Charnamrita, Bhagavatam, Gita and Prabupada’s other books. I personally experience that from travelling I feel strain or something then I just read sciriptures for 10 15minutes immediately you feel rejuvenated so many devotees they mentioned how they don’t get the time to read, it is very important to read the pastimes of Krishna to hear the pastimes of Krishna and Lord Chaitanya to insulate us from the attraction to the material world because these pastimes are all filled up with spiritual potency to take our minds away from maya, In Perth & Melbourne I was telling about the different activities that I have been performing through the GauraPornima festival, nawadweep parikrama, then we went on a tour from Puri to Parvath, from Jagannath Puri to Himalayas to Kathmandu where ….. Vishnu Swami Maharaj and Maha Vishnu Swami Maharaj we installed Radha Govind Hari deities and JagganthNitai Gaur part of this tour, someone is trying to, we also did a deity installation at Kanainatsla. How many have you been to Kanainatsla ? How many have heard of Kanainatsla? You know Kanainatsla. In Chaitanya Charnamrita it mentions that Lord Chaitanya tried to go to Vrindavan NakhuBrahmachari. It is Nakhubrahmachari or Narshimhabrahmachari was meditating and making a path go with golden trees, fountains and flowers and everything and as he is making the path he got up to Kanainatslahe couldn’t go any further like he said that is the far as Lord Chaitanya will go so then Lord Chaitanya got to Ramkeli and he initiated Roopa and Sanatana Goswami and he was having a huge kirtan with hundreds and thousands to devotees then he went forward to Vrindavan alongside the Ganges, the Kanainatsla is an ancient Krishna place of pilgrimage where the lotus feet of Radha and Kanaiyalal have been there since time immemorial and Lord Chaitanya worshipped those foot impressions, you know they are still there know the same foot impressions of Lord Chaitanya touched and he cried out his tears washed you can touch those foot impressions you can put your head on to it. Lord Chaitanya got there then Sanatana Goswami advised that going to Vrindavan with tens of thousands of people will not be the best way to do it so then he told everybody you be at Kanainatsla this is gupt Vrindavan, this is also Vrindavan. So he reached Vrindavan this time I have come to Vrindavan and then he went back from there to JagganthPuribut there is also twice two other times that Lord Chaitanya went to Kanainatsla. You know those times? When he was deprived of his father then he went to Gaya to perfrompindi and the route was to go along side the Ganges and to go to Patna which was that time knows as Patliputra from there go South by boat to Gaya to Gaya and perform the ceremony at Gadhadhar Vishnu pada mandir. That is where Lord Chaitanya met Ishwar Puri and took initiation and then after his initiation his devotional mood became very strong manifested when Lord Chaitanya went back he was very much manifested in Krishna consciousness crying for Krishna wanting to see Krishna and then again he went the same way, this time he again stopped Lord Chaitanya stopped there he was chanting then he saw a beautiful cowherd boy coming towards him from a distance he became closer he saw that he was blue in color he had a large flower garland which was touching his lotus feet he was wearing yellow garments and beautiful jewelry he had a kastubamani around his neck and he had a srivastva mark on his chest he was playing on the flute and he had a peacock feather on his hair and he had sharp ear rings on his ears he was Lord Krishna himself. We can try to imagine although we cant really imagine we can try to imagine how happy Lord Chaitanya was to see Krishna the object of his pure devotion Krishna came closer and closer to him right up to Lord Chaitanya and put his arms around Lord Chaitanya embraced him, Lord Chaitanya when he was being held by Krishna and smelling Krishna’s transcendental aroma he was in so much transcendental joy and transcendental happiness which is beyond expression Lord Chaitanya had achieved Krishna at Kanainatsla but then Krishna let go off Lord Chaitanya and he ran off he danced off smiling and disappearing from sight Lord Chaitanya became mad looking after Krishna that he had achieved Krishna and Krishna left and there Lord Chaitanya began rolling on the ground and crying, that is where he began thevipralamba bhava the mood of separation from Krishna we can feel some separation just hearing about Lord Chaitanya and Krishna but when the devotee actually realizes Krishna then Krishna disappears then separation is inconceivable so great, so there Lord Chaitanya he had this wonderful pastime and began the intense mood of separation which our whole movement is based on basically we are all chanting for Krishna Lord Chaitanya’s in the mood of separation we don’t see them sometimes in the intense kirtan we are feeling because Krishna holy name isn’t different we feel the presence of Krishna in his holy name and we feel some exhilaration some ecstasy or sometimes we are chanting in a different raga we are feeling separation so this Kanainatsala is a very special place in Chaitanya’s pastimes of course he was there only for a short time three times, few days each time right on the side of the Ganges it’s a hill of 25 hector’s or 75 acers sorry more than that and according to Bhakti Siddhantha Saraswathi Thakur’s history that was under the , Chaitanya Bhagavat he mentions that the temple was under the worship of some Ram bhaktas, some Ramanandis sampradaya and for generations they were worshipping and they were told that if you cannot protect the deities you have to give it to the followers of Lord Chaitanya so three years ago the deities were stolen and the head priest he realized that I have failed to protect the deities now I have to give the temple to devotee of Lord Chaitanya our sampradaya cannot keep this temple any longer and he also felt his own disciples would not be able to protect it so he is praying to Kanaiyalal for inspiration and he got a dream where the Lord told him to give to the followers of His Divine Grace Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Prabhupadake Jai to give to ISCKON and to make the long story short he came and he offered to give us this holy place most of the holy places of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu have been taken over by the caste JatGosais the caste Goswamis the shaijyas and its very hard to get any places it is already grabbed, this was the only one of the few places that is under the control of another sampradaya and that also we should give, so it is like they waited to give ISCKON was the more prominent at that time it is said this happened 50 years ago they have been having the worship for over 150 years already then it could have gone to may be someone else. So we have taken over for about a year and a half the temple after we took it there were two years after we took it then 6 months later that Guru passed away so we did some, the Bhakti Vedanta Swami charity trust Tamal Krishna Maharaj is one of the trustees and myself and Bhakti Charu Maharaj and other they sanctioned 50,000 rupees for a small … hall around the temple for donation for that we gave another 100,000 rupees and …. And one devotee in Calcutta Ragapadas he donated the deities of Radha Kanaiyalal and Lord Chaitanya so those deities were ready and we installed those deities after the festival this year and gone for a tour with disciples of different Guru’s there were 50 devotees and 70 came from Mayapur so we did a Maha installation even the bhaktas could be watered for abhishek, because it was right next to the Ganges you could go into the Ganges with the clothes on and come out and if come out there clothes too wet carrying the water and you could carry the water upto the abhishek offer special facility of the Ganges so we did a mahaabhishek with 108 pots of water and all the other ingredients were there and the pranpratistha actually why don’t you call Sitaram Lakshman Das in Melbourne have him send all of those photos we can show to the devotees all the Kanainatsala photos, if he sends this afternoon we will get tomorrow morning we can make more …. How are you, it was very wonderful all the devotees in fact we did not make any publicity but 10,000 people came every night for the program big festival somehow we can see.Marichidas he makes my itinerary in a very heartless manner after the day the deities were installed that night at 8o clock at night he had scheduled us to leave for the next place to go to Patnam Kathmandu by train so we all felt like well here this is like a little separation just the deities come and were so beautiful the deities very enchanting just like Radha Madhav has enchanting smile Melbourne, this deity had a very enchanting smile on his face and very and we had done just this mahayagya and he came and told everybody has to go, we achieved Krishna and we lost him never going to hear the end of this somehow even today the pastimes of Lord Chaitanya are going on, Lord Chaitanya said the whole world will be flooded with Krishna consciousness every town and village will be reached I think there are a few nooks and corners which are not flooded yet so the pass times are still going on these are the extended pass times of course these extended pass times are a bit austere in one sense that we don't see Lord Chaitanya so much but if you are able to absorb yourself in the pastimes of Lord Chaitanya from Prabhupada's books then one can experience the nectar that actually Lord Chaitanya is present and Prabhupada is present and spreading the sankirtan movement and as it is mentioned here in one of these verses that the devotees have taken shelter of the lotus feet of the Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu take the responsibility for distributing the nectarine devotional service all over the world. Srila Prabhupada went all over the world so many times,14 times in order to spread the nectar of Lord Chaitanya's devotional service and he requested that his followers especially the sanyasi disciples should continue taking the nectar around the world so carrying out, trying to carry out the order although we are very happy to always be in Mayapur dham but sometimes we also have to come out and travel i am always excited because we see how devotees are representing Lord Chaitanya's spreading this nectar and everywhere else also like to take this, Kanainatsala is directly north of Mayapur 30kms from Ramakeli the temple of Roop & Sanatan we get up there by the eastern railway if you like or you can drive up it is about a five hour drive, it is another hour and a half from Nityananda's birth place so many must have gone around too to Ekachakra its North of Ekachakra or you can take a train from there the any way you can take a train and the train stops at certain places but you get there after a couple of hours or you can take a AC train from Calcutta and right to Tinpahar station and get down drive the last ten kilometers to Kanainatsala few alternatives are there and it's really a beautiful place because it's being on the side of the Ganges, Mayapur is on the side of the Ganges, Mayapur Ganges is very narrow know because there is no water there, they are giving all the water to Bangladesh still Mayapur Ganges is so beautiful but here this place because it is North of the dam they built the Farakhbar holds so this has become a whole water reservoir of Ganges and Ganges there is about 8 kilometers wide just like an ocean, if you are on the Ganges side you cannot see clearly the other side top of the hill you can see the other side in a clear day you can see the other side but if it is really misty you can't and there the Ganges is blue color because it is not flowing so much it is in a reservoir yaa and the side of the hills it is nice white rocky like a chalk it goes right into the Ganges of course for those who don't swim there is also a shallow area it is very beautiful very wonderful place. I had a girl who couldn't chant japa she was always mentally distracted but she chanted perfectly japa there very great place to go, any way by Lord Chaitanya's mercy that it is come to ISCKON and .... Swami .... it is in Gauramandal bhoomi it is now being managed through Namahatta Mayapur. How many like to go sometime.
"e amṛta kara pāna, yāra sama nāhi āna,citte kari’ sudṛḍha viśvāsa nā paḍa’ kutarka-garte, amedhya karkaśa āvarte,yāte paḍile haya sarva-nāśa" The readers should relish this wonderful nectar because nothing compares to it. Keeping their faith firmly fixed within their minds, they should be careful not to fall into the pit of false arguments or the whirlpools of unfortunate situations. If one falls into such positions, he is finished.
"śrī-caitanya, nityānanda, advaitādi bhakta-vṛnda,āra yata śrotā bhakta-gaṇa tomā-sabāra śrī-caraṇa, kari śire vibhūṣaṇa,yāhā haite abhīṣṭa-pūraṇa" In conclusion, I submit to Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, Nityānanda Prabhu, Advaita Prabhu and all the other devotees and readers that I accept your lotus feet as the helmet on my head. In this way, all my purposes will be served.
"śrī-rūpa-sanātana- raghunātha-jīva-caraṇa,śire dhari, — yāra karoṅ āśa kṛṣṇa-līlāmṛtānvita, caitanya-caritāmṛta,kahe kichu dīna kṛṣṇadāsa" Taking the feet of Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī, Śrī Sanātana Gosvāmī, Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī, Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī and Jīva Gosvāmī on my head, I always desire their mercy. Thus I, Kṛṣṇadāsa, humbly try to describe the nectar of the pastimes of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, which are mixed with the pastimes of Lord Kṛṣṇa.
"śrīman-madana-gopāla-govinda-deva-tuṣṭaye caitanyārpitam astv etac
caitanya-caritāmṛtam" For the satisfaction of Śrī Madana-gopāla and Govindadeva, we pray that this book, Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, may be offered to Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
"tad idam ati-rahasyaṁ gaura-līlāmṛtaṁ yat khala-samudaya-kolair nādṛtaṁ tair alabhyam kṣatir iyam iha kā me svāditaṁ yat samantāt sahṛdaya-sumanobhir modam eṣāṁ tanoti" The Caitanya-caritāmṛta pastimes of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu constitute a very secret literature. It is the life and soul of all devotees. Those who are not fit to relish this literature, who are envious like hogs and pigs, will certainly not adore it. However, this will not harm my attempt. These pastimes of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu will certainly please all saintly people who have clear hearts. They will certainly enjoy it. We wish that this will enhance their enjoyment more and more. Thus end the Bhaktivedanta purports to Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Madhya-līlā, twenty-fifth chapter, describing how the inhabitants of Vārāṇasī were converted to Vaiṣṇavism. Prabhupada gave a little note here The author of Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī, has condemned all his enemies by comparing them to envious hogs and pigs. The Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement, which is spreading throughout the world, is being appreciated by sincere people, although they have never previously heard of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes. Now even the higher, priestly circles are appreciating this movement. They have concluded that this movement is very nice and that they have something to learn from it. Nonetheless, in India there are some people who say that they belong to this cult but who are actually very envious of the ācārya. They have tried to suppress our activities in many ways, but as far as we are concerned, we follow in the footsteps of Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī and take them as envious pigs and hogs. We simply wish to present the pastimes of Lord Kṛṣṇa and Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu to the best of our ability so that those who are really honest can cleanse their hearts. We hope that they enjoy this literature and bestow their blessings upon us. It appears that even such a great personality as Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī met with some envious obstacles; what, then, to speak of us, who are only insignificant creatures in this universe. We are simply trying to execute the orders of our spiritual master to the best of our ability. End of Madhya Lila Hari On Tat Sat.
Any questions? Lord Chaitanya is always feeling separation of Krishna and realizing Krishna’s pass times so there is a overlap there he is telling his devotees about Lord Krishna, Lord Krishna pass times his realization Krishna’s pass times so we hear about Chaitanya’s pass times so much about Krishna you get to understand Krishna from the perspective of Lord Chaitanya and that gives a clear understanding what it means to have Krishna bhakti what is devotion to Krishna because the greatest devotee is demonstrating what is the highest level of Krishna bhakti. Yes, well some places they tell more about Krishna sometimes they tell more about Lord Chaitanya. In Scotland they have popularized Gauranga so much that everybody knows Gauranga all the public buses all double decker buses have big letters to chant Gauranga shout Gauranga and be happy. In the factories the people before they get to work all the workers they get into a huddle and yell three times Gauranga Gauranga Gauranga and they really feel good they get so much energy, they have a stencil and they put on every wall on every bridge over pass everywhere chant Gauranga Gauranga the police are looking who is this Gauranga over a year they couldn’t find the Gauranga and it was like whole things it was in the papers everbody started chanting Gauranga nobody knew who Gauranga was, then they traced it back to the Hare Krishna’s and the day of Nityananda’s appearance day the head police came to the temple knocking inside a huge kirtan going on you know he said look I know you are the Gauranga group I want you to stop it this all kirtan somewhat very just like the vibration was too much for him he just left that was the last they heard, know they are doing it legally. The events take place everywhere they even have now you know how they have these Gauranga candy kings so the Gauranga when you suck on it Gauranga goes right straight through you can always eat Gauranaga right straight till the end and people so there they when they ask for donation people ask who are you this and that what is this what group are you they say Gauranga group Gaurangaa! Here they are great people they give donations take the books its work you know, it works in Queensland Radharani land who else is the queen but Radha rani ….we have to preach according to time, place, circumstances some people they cannot understand our philosophy any ways for them if they can say Gauranga there life is perfect and then after that they get so much blessings they become open interesting strategy they have in Scotland. They did not talk about it or take it through the GBC forum this that working quite well, but general wisdom will tell us to give this simple philosophy of we are not this body and gradually work up to Lord Chaitanya who knows and preaching is up to the distributors to take it as there mission with all the message and can train you with the different mantras different lines and different see it works practically whatever the devotees are saying during book distribution know it is realized by some book distributor so I can’t say don’t try but … otherwise the systematic way Bhagvad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatm and Chaitanya Charnamrita how many people needs together that someone is so merciful that he doesn’t consider who is qualified and who isn’t qualified just gives everyone mercy they can find out the details of these aspects later … I know when you meet people who are alcoholic, drug addicts’ people are really in a mode of tamo guna if you get them to chant Lord Chaitanya’s name it is much more effective too offensive if you can’t chant Hare Krishna. There is a type of tribal in Africa not I don’t think it is the tutsi’s I can’t remember the name I think it is masai or something like that and they don’t they take don’t want to say it here in the temple it is so disgusting let’s say they take something Non Veg may be like that and therefore they are very low on the category you know of qualified candidates to get Krishna’s mercy but somehow, Prabhupada said well you tell them to chant the pancha tattva mantra because Lord Chaitanya doesn’t take any offence there is hope for them if they chant so some people are too far gone in the pit we have no hope for them but Lord Chaitanya name and after they chant Lord Chaitanya’s name then they chant Hare Krishna they get some. How is everybody here. You know Druva , In Melbourne we were just reading the Parma Bhagavatam about Druva this morning Narayan was just going to see him in Madhuban nobody could read in the universe because he was so united with Krishna’s meditation that when he stopped breathing everybody stopped breathing and the purport Prabhupada said that if one pure devotee, if there is one pure devotee of Krishna simply by that pure devotees desire the whole world can be made Krishna Conscious, so Dhruva he was close to Krishna he caused the whole universe to stop breathing so one pure devotee can make the world Krishna Conscious like everybody is crying for devotional service, so Prabhupada had such a strong desire that the whole world should be Krishna Conscious we can surrender properly and be instruments in his hand and should not be difficult to achieve, you can achieve it. Any other question Oh you are a hindu you can get their name and address and say we have a temple here would like to send you an invitation we have festivals you believe in Krishna would like to come for Janmastmi different festivals get there name and address talk and have little prasadam in your pocket for such a person I will give you prasadam then after that all the relationship is established why don’t you take this is a book you may have so many original Gita’s you may have a Gita but do you have this Bhagavad Gita this is the Bhagavad Gita that give you strength, no other Bhagavad Gita has convinced so many Australians, Russians, Americans, Europeans as this one any way just get there name for the database and send them an invitation, so long you have been here why don’t you come to the Sunday feast some kind of Indians like the one’s here don’t have lot of money so much money but then can, you can invite them and try to establish relationship or maybe they are just proud. I know one Indian became a devotee because the distributor said sir yes you are very fortunate you are very great gentleman and just see become a hindu monk I am begging you give whatever you can take this book it’s yours, so then because he said I felt here I am an immigrant in this country and you know a local is begging me for donation he felt like really proud you know pulled out a 5 and gave him got the Bhagavad Gita then was drunk at that time took it back home and when he read it after some time he picked it what’s this he went back there was a temple and he went to the temple it was Nityananda’s appearance day also and he after that he became a purified gave up all bad habits so then there was a slight covering but they say there was a nice feeling he said he had seen a police or something they were afraid that this guy is cutting into my sense gratification he was very feeble personal and friendly you consider they are all allies they are family members but they may be fallen into maya so then we can put them immediately on that you can have this and get there name and address and write it just like there are so many roman Catholics how many follow, so many Christians how many follow Christianity, so many Muslims how many follow Islam, there are so many Hindus but how many follow but they say yes I follow maybe they are following who knows then you can only find out in maybe they don’t have time to find out right know at least you can get there contact details this is there temple and even if they have so we have our Krishna temple maybe you could say would you like to give donation for the Krishna temple and then they may say ok then you give them the books. When you preach in India you they have so many excuses occasionally meet a real demon, I met a demon when I went to do a life membership preaching seems like demons are real demons I came in there it was dirty office it was dark
