CC Madhya 14.81

śrīvāsa-sahita jala khele gadādhara

rāghava-paṇḍita sane khele vakreśvara

Another duel took place between Śrīvāsa Ṭhākura and Gadādhara Paṇḍita, and yet another between Rāghava Paṇḍita and Vakreśvara Paṇḍita. Thus, they all engaged in throwing water.

CC Madhya 14.82

gāmbhīrya gela doṅhāra, haila śiśu-prāya

Indeed, Sārvabhauma Bhaṭṭācārya engaged in water sports with Śrī Rāmānanda Rāya, and they both lost their gravity and became like children.

CC Madhya 14.83

mahāprabhu tāṅ doṅhāra cāñcalya dekhiyā

gopīnāthācārye kichu kahena hāsiyā

When Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu saw the exuberance of Sārvabhauma Bhaṭṭācārya and Rāmānanda Rāya, He smiled and spoke to Gopīnātha Ācārya.

ei dui — gaṇḍa-śaila, ihāra kā kathā

“A drop from the ocean of Your mercy can drown great mountains like Sumeru and Mandara. Since these two gentlemen are little hills by comparison, it is no wonder that they are being drowned in the ocean of Your mercy.

CC Madhya 14.87

śuṣka-tarka-khali khāite janma gela yāṅra

tāṅre līlāmṛta piyāo, — e kṛpā tomāra

“Logic is like a dry oil cake from which all the oil has been extracted. The Bhaṭṭācārya passed his life in eating such dry cakes, but now You have made him drink the nectar of transcendental pastimes. It is certainly Your great mercy upon him.”

CC Madhya 14.88

hāsi’ mahāprabhu tabe advaite ānila

jalera upare tāṅre śeṣa-śayyā kaila

After Gopīnātha Ācārya finished talking, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu smiled and, calling for Advaita Ācārya, made Him act like the Śeṣa Nāga bed.

Sesha naga bed is a snake from of the Lord on which Mahavishnu lays on the ocean of the causal ocean.

CC Madhya 14.89

niśāte udyāne āsi’ karilā śayana

In the afternoon, Śri Caitanya Mahāprabhu went to the Guṇḍicā temple to visit the Lord and dance. At night He went to the garden to take rest.

CC Madhya 14.95

āra dina āsi’ kaila īśvara daraśana

prāṅgaṇe nṛtya-gīta kaila kata-kṣaṇa

The next day, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu also went to the temple of Guṇḍicā and saw the Lord. He then chanted and danced in the yard for some time.

CC Madhya 14.96

bhakta-gaṇa-saṅge prabhu udyāne āsiyā

vṛndāvana-vihāra kare bhakta-gaṇa lañā

Accompanied by His devotees, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu then went into the garden and enjoyed the pastimes of Vṛndāvana.

Purport:

Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura has pointed out that this vṛndāvana-vihāra — the pastimes of Vṛndāvana — does not refer to Kṛṣṇa’s mixing with the gopīs or the transcendental mellow of parakīya-rasa. Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s vṛndāvana-līlā in the garden of Jagannātha Purī did not involve association with women or with other people’s wives in the fashion transcendentally demonstrated by Śrī Kṛṣṇa. In His vṛndāvana-līlā, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu conceived of Himself as the assistant of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī. When Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī enjoyed the company of Kṛṣṇa, Her maidservants were very pleased. One should not compare Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s vṛndāvana-vihāra in the garden of Jagannātha with the activities of the gaurāṅga-nāgarīs.

His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami: Gauranga- nagaris is one form of apa-sampradāya which is deviated superstitious and they do such illicit activity which in name of spiritual life.

Apa-sampradāya is something which appeared that some basis in shastra some basis in sampradāya but actually deviate. They introduce some material conception apa-dharma, chaladharma. Chala dharma means it is totally cheating like some people that they simply deviate only for money.

Apa-samapradaya is not like that they are not… They just totally bewildered they are doing something some Bhakti They think they are right; they think they are doing spiritual life its actually they got deviated. Chola means just a cheating, they are just putting on a show. Then there is adharma is just totally against religious principles directly irreligion. So, all the various kinds of apa-dharma, upa-dharma, chala-dharma, adharma; all these things are eradicated by the mission of Chaitanya Mahāprabhu.

He came to establish proper dharma, proper duty of the living entity. So, Lord Chaitanya His own mood was I am trying to please Kṛṣṇa, who would have serving Kṛṣṇa being assistant to Rādhārāṇī as mentioned here.

Actually, it’s important to know that the devotional service of the gopīs is not even dint by any personal desire for sense gratification. Just like here explains that the gopīs were very pleased, they are very happy when Kṛṣṇa and Rādhā rāṇī were together.

In fact, Nectar of Devotion explains that the gopīs were more pleased when Kṛṣṇa and Rādhā rāṇī are united than when Kṛṣṇa personally meets them. Sometime Rādhā rāṇī arrange for Kṛṣṇa meets other gopīs and the gopīs are sometimes to serve Kṛṣṇa directly for the gopīs are not so happy. When that happens like when they able to bring Rādhā rāṇī to Kṛṣṇa. And Rādhā rāṇī is more happy when she can bring Kṛṣṇa to the other gopīs.

So, in this way, totally the service attitude there is not even slightest dingh of personal sense gratification. There is no comparison in the material world that one can… In, spiritual which we perfectly demonstrate this kind of mood.

Of course, Chaitanya Mahāprabhu in His enjoying Vṛndāvan pastime this is by bhava, this is by His meditation this is by His own cause otherwise in Chaitanya Mahāprabhu’s pastime hearing the pastimes of the Lord, remembering the pastimes of the Lord, engaging in the service to the Lord, chanting of the Holy name and glorifying the Lord pastime these are the predominate means of Lord Chaitanya participating in Lord Kṛṣṇa’s pastime.

Of course, Lord Chaitanya some time was directly coming to the very eternal consciousness and just enter into the pastime that was not, that was frequent, can we say.

But Lord Chaitanya was demonstrating although Kṛṣṇa was present five thousand years ago and some devotees could directly participate in these pastimes. Although we are in kali yuga thousands and thousands of years after Kṛṣṇa has left the world. We can participate in that same transcendental pastime by remembering, by chanting, by hearing Nam Chintamani Kṛṣṇa Chaitanya rasa vigrah.

Kṛṣṇa’s name or Himself fully cognisant fully spiritually potent ras vigrah that is the form of transcendental mellow.

Just like we sing Jay Rādhā Mādhav kunj vihari Gopijan Vallabha girivar dhari actually it is nothing but names of Kṛṣṇa, kunj vihari Gopijan Vallabha Yamunatir vanchari

these are actually, names of Kṛṣṇa. The names of Kṛṣṇa referring to the different aspects of Kṛṣṇa participating in different pastime, just by remembering His names the names Himself are filled with nectar rasa vigrah nectarine pastimes of Kṛṣṇa can be remembered, can be experienced just like chanting the name.

Although here in kali yuga Kṛṣṇa was seemingly may be far-far away, simply by just repeating the name of Kṛṣṇa immediately one’s consciousness can be transported to that pastime and through meditation on that name one can experience some of the nectar even a drop of that nectar he experience may be not the whole nectar capacity we may not have the whole nectar of the ocean. But even we take one drop as Gopīnāth acharya told Lord Chaitanya one drop of Chaitanya Mahāprabhu’s nectar, ocean of nectar it is not what of speak of flood He is not ordinary person He can flood even a great mountain higher than Himalaya like Sumeru and Mandara.

So, as we perform our devotional service as we preach Kṛṣṇa consciousness, as we serve the disciplic succession out of inspiring the mercy of Kṛṣṇa, the mercy of Nitāi Gaura Chandra by their mercy sometime we can get a drop of that nectar. If we get drop of that nectar that more than fills the heart.

Just like Ramanand Rai, Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya here they play like almost   like children in the water playing, splashing each other. Lord Chaitanya when He told Gopīnāth ācārya tell them to stop they are very great people why they are being so foolish. He is actually saying that humorously.

Lord Chaitanya was internally very happy.

Actually, Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya was very dry the best example he was dry like an oil cake when oil take out of it this is very mustard or sesame seed different type of oil seed, they crush the seed and squeeze out all the oil.  Actually, crush the seed was not just call the oil cake get so dry and hard just like a piece of bark they soak it and feed it to cow oil cake. They take every consider oil they can squeeze it out they somehow chemically remove whatever way they can take it out then what left they try to measure how much oil must be some oil still there you can get oil of it but it is very dry, very hard.

So, suddenly by discussing the impersonal philosophy there is some juice there the juice is compared to the dry oil cake and the nectar of Kṛṣṇa consciousness is compare to like the ocean of nectar.

So, this Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya was so dry he was just mental speculator after he got the mercy of Lord Caitanya, he became so blissful that even he is playing even he just even though he is sixty-seven years old sometime became so blissful he just splashing water on Ramanand Rai. Thinking of the pastime in Vṛndāvan all the devotees there use to splash water with Kṛṣṇa cowherd boy.

Ramanand Rai such a great he was a governor. Governor of the whole country that was subjugated of this Pratāparudra the emperor of Orissa Utkal. Such a great person governor he is just splashing water with Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya. In other words, by the mercy of Lord Chaitanya everyone’s heart can became melted.

Prabhupāda explains that actually heart in material life is very hard like a stone it covered by so many layers of dirt. Layers of layers - birth after birth - ceto dharpan marjanm mahdavagni nirvapanm by the chanting the Holy name of Kṛṣṇa this wipes the way the dirt from the heart. The heart is generally very hard someone is attracted to the personal philosophy that starts to purified the heart some way very gradually then it’s compared to heart become like gold. The gold is also fallen heart all by the pure but that the devotee their heart become pure like pure clarified ghee, pure clarified butter so that very easily melts this also completely pure.

But little slightly remembrance of Kṛṣṇa, slight engagement in the devotional service and chanting Nectarian names of Kṛṣṇa then heart melts. The consciousness is immediately attracted to Kṛṣṇa –

dharmaḥ svanuṣṭhitaḥ puṁsāṁ, viṣvaksena-kathāsu yaḥ, notpādayed yadi ratiṁ, śrama eva hi kevalam [ SB 1.2.8]

their consciousness is directly attracted to Kṛṣṇa spontaneously. Until our consciousness is attracted to Kṛṣṇa if we are just going on some form of meditation or some kind of so-called spiritual process then it’s considered ultimately spiritual energy not a little realization of time not a….no fruit is actually gain from that. Because we are not transported out of the material world even the liberation was achieved by the personalist is not a liberation again, they come back down into the material world. Unless one has attraction for devotional service how can he go to spiritual world the spiritual world there is nothing but devotional service. One has an attraction for devotional service then at the time of death what else can one go except the spiritual whatever the suitable place there be that is once attraction.  So, developing attraction for devotional service is actually the most essential part of devotional service.  To develop the attraction to hear the message of Kṛṣṇa is polarizes us so then we can be attracted by the method of Kṛṣṇa back to the spiritual world.

So, here Lord Chaitanya is happy to see Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya who was a very great person who was harder very hard-hearted mental speculator. Now he is just enjoying Kṛṣṇa’s pastime and he want to sport in Kṛṣṇa’s Jagannath garden.

Actually, Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya was Brihaspati. Brihaspati when he heard Kṛṣṇa was coming in the kali yuga as Chaitanya Mahāprabhu he decided let me come down and participate Lord Chaitanya’s pastime.

So, he took birth actually in Nabadwip knowing that Lord Chaitanya take birth.  Actually, not only he himself appeared in Nabadwip one hundred yards behind the place Lord Chaitanya went school. He just anticipates one should take the birth in the material world one should come down on this planet your condition and we have to submit to the various conditionings of the particular body you are in.

So, to participate in Kṛṣṇa’s pastime take birth here they also get totally overwhelmed by they just…It’s not like they remember once they take part in the pastime lost in, they only remember after they live their body who they were mostly Kṛṣṇa’s mercy Lord Chaitanya revealed to them.

So, he came down and that time he came before Lord Chaitanya before Lord Chaitanya Nabadwip was the place of māyāvādīs,  smārtas, mental speculators dry religionists, it wasn’t a place of devotee very few devotee Śrīvas, Advaita they are being prosecuted, they are being temple people.

India was very religious no doubt people are going there to study Sanskrit culture for their use of that to achieve liberation from the material world to get mystic power to worship demigod to get some material benefit very few actually using the Vedic literature to actually achieve bhakti or pure devotion this was unfortunate environment. [Not Clear – 00:20:52] Advaita Goswami and other Vaiṣṇava’s so much that they pray to Kṛṣṇa to come down and to deliver the people, to bring devotional service in to the world again in its full form.

So, of course Lord Chaitanya did that but this was far before to be Lord Chaitanya be a preacher.

Brihaspati is the guru of demigod he wanted to teach Lord Chaitanya so he came down simply to teach Lord Chaitanya took up Him when Lord Chaitanya was going to school.  But in that environment, he became himself contaminated by māyāvād and he became himself māyāvādī philosopher.  He totally forgot what he came for and he went off to Jagannath purī and were teaching sannyāsī māyāvādī philosophy of Shankaracharya.

Lord Chaitanya went to the place to go to the school just like next to the birth place of Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya he was no longer there he already got deviated by māyā.

In fact, Gaṅgā das Pandit became the teacher of Lord Chaitanya.

Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya of course Lord Chaitanya any way wants to delivered him his plan of going to had Nityānanda and others so that he will be alone and this way Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya was pick him up bring Him to his house how could all this be outside of Lord Chaitanya’s plan.

Lord Chaitanya’s plan was to pick up Brihaspati and delivered him. So, he accepted him alright I take instructions from you and for seven days he just sat and listen all and Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya teaching Him how we all God everyone is God one to whole one; whole māyāvādī philosophy covered by illusion once the illusion clears away then we realized we are God very clear. So, he asked Lord Chaitanya do you understand? You didn’t ask me any question you just sit there want to ask any question?

Did you understand anything?

I can understand all the Sanskrit verses of Vedānta sūtra you are saying but all the explanation I can’t understand at all what’s that.

You can understand the Sanskrit verses but you can’t understand explanation which is supposed to make the verses more easily understandable He is joking with me He can pick up.  But actually, Lord Chaitanya just chanting so he said well, how is it possible it more difficult to understand verses than explanation so what you understand of the verses.

Then Lord Chaitanya explain Vaishnav philosophy janmādy asya yato ’nvayād everything coming from the supreme absolute because everything is coming from the absolute that means whatever we see in this world is nothing but a product or transformation of the energy of absolute truth. If it exists here must be exist there if there is form and variety is here must form and variety in the absolute world. But he is saying that absolute truth is without form and without variety and all the variety is come from the nothing how can all the variety come from the nothing.  It is no free will it is not intelligence if there is no variety how does logically come that how the material world where people have free will so much variety all these things come from the absolute truth which is worried about it which is devoid about it.  How can something come from the origin which does not possess that capacity or quality, why absolute truth without any variety, quality suddenly create then it must have origin free will how all these things came about it.  It actually, totally illogical that is absolute truth is impersonal but there is although it is unusual thing although the māyāvādīs stress and the jñānīs they are experts in logic arguments their thesis totally illogical.

But somehow, they show a circle, they are not able to see their own logic because they are using another form. They are not using logic that everything in this world is temporary and it all has form. Therefore, the absolute truth must not have any form and they are giving truthful interpretation of the Vedānta sūtra although it janmādy asya yato everything was coming from the absolute truth that kinds of … that here is māyā we take opposite of absolute truth.

Māyā must have also come from absolute truth what is the absolute truth?

How we understand janmādy asya yato ’nvayād how we understand not by speculation athāto brahmā jijñāsā we must act you must inquire from the absolute truth from the disciplic succession.

What is the nature of the absolute truth?

You not understand by speculation we have to hear from the absolute authority that is the brahmā jijñāsā but to ask jijñā ask about brahmā from whom not from the people on the street but from the representative of absolute truth from the lord himself.

Hear from the Lord Kṛṣṇa is saying I am the original all material and spiritual world is not some time people say it’s illogical how you know Lord exist?

Because scriptures say. What are the scriptures saying they come from God it’s logical everyone come from? From God? arguing invalid logic invalid argument?

But actually, it’s not invalid if you think in this sense how do you know that none of, we can exist none of we can say, I exist I am here.

How do you know that Balabhadra prabhu is here?

Balabhadra prabhu are you here?

See that’s the evidence.  How do you know that Kṛṣṇa is existed? How do you know He exist?

He said I exist ahaṁ sarvasya prabhavo things are come it’s not illogical God came and look here I am I exist believe me I am here and as soon as said Hari bol Hari bol I believe you everyone now believe you did you see two arm, two legs, head everything is coming from you all universes I believe you but may be everyone not. How can you demonstrate that?

No problem; use my universal form.  Everything you see everything is coming from Kṛṣṇa all right that enough all right that’s enough seat back come back to your normal other beautiful form. When Kṛṣṇa come back four arms form two arms form.

So Bhagavat Gītā is giving this strongest argument when Lord Himself came He told everything about Himself yes I exist this is what I do this is how I created this is how the material world this is the low of goodness, passion, ignorance low of karma, reincarnation everything and yes I created everything here and all that in spiritual world is not depending on any other energy doesn’t need sunlight, moonlight, electricity it self-illuminated once you go there you never come back gives so many very nice explanation.

What is this material world?

Who is demigod?

What are the processes of yoga?

How to achieve absolute realization what is the best what is the comparison study between the different wants so nicely beautifully arrange it actually it not an imported argument it very direct very powerful.

How do you know Kṛṣṇa is every were?

Kṛṣṇa’s birth place is still there, Vṛndāvan is there, Kurukṣetra is there. Why you all the great [28 48Not audible] lie he show the list universal form nobody denied He showed the universal form even the impersonalist they always says yes Kṛṣṇa showed universal form all the acharya’s all who are present thousands of people witness there in the battlefield this way some of the impersonalist their brain get short-circuit which I was once preaching to one māyāvādī he used to every morning go on his room naked and just meditate for couple hours in the midnight and something had lying even a deer skin or tiger skin I forget which one of the skin.

I explain about the Kṛṣṇa conscious philosophy even the last verse of fourteen chapter of Bhagavad Geeta brahmaṇo hi pratiṣṭhāham I am the basis of impersonal brahman he was shock how can I be whole life thinking is nothing beyond the impersonal brahman just I have to think about it, big shock for me. So, next day I came back and then he was very happy he said alright now I am quite happy.

Oh! now you understood what I said?  no, no I call out my friend at the  university one Yogananda yogi here he told me no brahmaṇo hi pratiṣṭhāham means four headed Brahmā (devotees laughter) and the original form of four headed brahmā he never be any… completely dull headed very intellectual very… but when he come to the point going beyond the impersonal some were there is a  short-circuit even dull headed in to them so many time that this is personality this is quality absolute truth must be without quality that is like that is  somehow  short-circuit so then it’s very hard to them understand although if you just look to a person that he just with objective understand that  this world is the product of the spiritual world that is not the Vedānta sūtra means the absolute truth is origin of this.  So whatever exist here is all coming from the absolute truth that means absolute truth must also have quality it also have personality and directly the Bhagvatam explain

brahmeti paramātmeti bhagavān iti śabdyate

that the absolute truth

vadanti tat tattva-vidastattvaṁ yaj jñānam advayam

is undivided absolute truth realize as the impersonal brahman localized super soul in the heart and as the Bhagavān personality of Godhead with all paraphernalia, qualities, associates sanagopangs thra parshadam. However, it takes some mercy to be able to understand personalist that māyāvādī with this discussion don’t understand but by doing devotional service so you just engage him in a devotional service by doing service for some time he became purified one day he said no, no I am trying to understand books Prabhupāda wrote actually it took some time. This is very great mercy if someone can understand this Kṛṣṇa conscious philosophy.

Some time we explain to people but they just won’t pick it up they even read the book but doesn’t register by taking Kṛṣṇa prasādam by taking the holy name of Kṛṣṇa by doing some devotional service people build up their spiritual capacity to comprehend, to realize to understand Kṛṣṇa conscious philosophy.

On the case of Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya by Lord Chaitanya’s mercy he just given the mercy like that he could understand Kṛṣṇa consciousness. After understanding Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya he personally had this sankirtan party in Jagannath purī he personally took them out some time.

Everyone was shock what’s going on?

Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya so dry big pandit very… very formal kind of person come up with the sick people by large head of the department in the university very strict here he is chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa in the street. He is the senior pandit of the whole top intellectuals of the kingdom there he is chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa with his hands in the air strictly following it

What is going on?

What happened to him?

Did he loose his sense no he gave his sense he didn’t loose his knowledge he can understand how the impersonalism over that real nectar of the param Brahman the Supreme Absolute truth personality of Godhead His pastime everything he can understand the transcendental nature of all of these pastimes.

In fact, Lord Chaitanya once test him so He came to Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya Lord Chaitanya went the Mangal aarti early got the mahāprasāda from Mangal Ārti cashew in Jagannath purī they give cashew there are many cashew trees.  My disciple has some time gives me ten kilos of cashews he is from Orissa. In Jagannātha purī only offer when they grow in Jagannath purī they don’t offer tomatoes because they don’t… was originally grown thousands of years in Jagannātha purī. Whatever the original ===they offer very strict so cashews they offer because they grow’s there.

So, they brought the cashew gave mahaprasad to Lord Chaitanya. He took those cashews and went to see Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya that morning Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya didn’t make it Mangal aarti he calls of bed. He was just turns of the bed just sitting rising out of bed hadn’t wash his mouthor anything.

Lord Chaitanya came right up here is mahaprasad from Lord Jagannātha what should he do he accept it immediately he ate. How he is eating he didn’t brush your mouth? He didn’t take bath, he just sitting on his bed and he is eating prasādam.

How he is doing that?

Sārvabhauma quoted a Sanskrit verse he is the great pandit whenever you get prasādam prāptam as soon as you get mahaprasadam prāptam evea as soon as you see you get the mahaprasadam you have to immediately take it before he never do that he was all to rules and regulations he get the prasad oh! Ya you see that he was actually impersonal now he become so devoted that alright this is the higher rule, if I get prasad even my mouth is not clean prasad is there let me take.

Lord Chaitanya was very pleased He told now you become so devoted.

This way Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya who was Brihaspati the guru of the Demigod he was delivered by Lord Chaitanya became a devotee. So, here we see how he is participating with Lord Chaitanya.

Lord Chaitanya just remembering the pastime of Kṛṣṇa or He goes on Ratha yatra when he sees Jagannātha He sees Kṛṣṇa. When He is pulling the Ratha cart He is pulling Kṛṣṇa back to Vṛndāvan back to Rādhārāṇī He is living that pastime He is completely in to it.  By hearing about Lord Chaitanya about Kṛṣṇa even if you get drop of that realization little bit of flavor that flavor is not different than being there.  May be the quantity may be different depending on the person’s spiritual development that not necessarily … when gopīs when Kṛṣṇa was not physically present will not visibly present, He was Aprakasha was not unmanifested form just by their mood by just discussion Kṛṣṇa and by discussing Kṛṣṇa they feel satisfied. They feel separation they will live all the different pastime Kṛṣṇa use to walk like this He use to smile like this He use to stand like this He put hand on Balarāma shoulder they remember how he is call out  different cows by their name and He walk and they just discuses about Kṛṣṇa is Kṛṣṇa there. When Uddhava went he tell them that they should not be sorry that Kṛṣṇa will be coming soon and he give them so many different philosophical advices and he went there and he saw that they completely absorb in Kṛṣṇa consciousness they totally with Kṛṣṇa at every movement.

Rādhā rāṇī start talking with the bumble bee be the messenger of Kṛṣṇa and going to so many ecstasies he one-minute separation and frustration one-minute chastising next minute remourse completely vilap love of Kṛṣṇa in total ecstasy in to the point of almost mad in love for Kṛṣṇa.

Uddhava he prays even I could become a grass blade of grass in Vṛndāvan and gopīs just walk on me that will be highest benediction that I could appeal… aspire for just have the dust of their lotus feet on my head.

Kṛṣṇa said Uddhava you teach the gopīs see that Kṛṣṇa’s trick. He goes there he caught by the gopīs he become totally converted he becomes gopī dasanu das after that.

So, the gopīs the residence of Vṛndāvan they are with Kṛṣṇa always but in the form of bhava by remembering Kṛṣṇa, by glorifying Kṛṣṇa, by chanting his name.

Lord Chaitanya taught us that we can also associate with Kṛṣṇa we can remember Kṛṣṇa how easiest way chanting his name Jaya Rādhā Mādhav Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hari harai nāma Kṛṣṇa every name filled up with the rasa filled with the nectar of Kṛṣṇa His quality, His pastime, His form simply by chanting the name one can experience these Nectarian pastime and quality of Kṛṣṇa.

So, here is the pastime of Lord Jagannath in Jagannath purī experience by Lord Chaitanya that this is the pastime of Kṛṣṇa in Vṛndāvan this is the basic understanding Prabhupāda is giving.

Are Lord Chaitanya giving anything concocted or like a gaurāṅga-nāgarīs but he was enjoying the ecstasy by remembering Kṛṣṇa’s pastime and being in that mood in service attitude to how be the assistant of Rādhārāṇī now you have brought Kṛṣṇa back to Rādhārāṇī you have taken Him to Dwarka and got Him back in Vṛndāvan. In this mood Kṛṣṇa was… Chaitanya Mahāprabhu very-very happy.

Any questions?

Devotee: - [Not Clear – 00:41:02]

His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami: Because Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya fall in māyā so then Lord Chaitanya want to deliver him [41 3oNot audible] become like that so that Lord Chaitanya could manifest His pastime. There is limited to our ability to understand generally they say to be he fell in to māyā by bad association.

So, whatever it may be the lesson that to be taught we shouldn’t associate with māyāvādī. If we associate with māyāvādī them someone like Sārvabhauma Bhattacharya by associating with māyāvādī when he was Brihaspati could be misled what to speak of us. The Māyāvādī tells their lessons with Kṛṣṇa offences to Kṛṣṇa and by hearing these offences the such of our spiritual growth destroys our devotional creeper and then make easiest for them give us poison of impersonal path in philosophy. [Not Clear – 00:42:10]

Any other question?

Why did Lord Chaitanya lay on top of Advaita?

Why did Lord Chaitanya react His Sheshsai pastime?

What is His Sheshsai pastime and why He reacted?

The way Advaita Gosāi has to do? How many can have do that?

How many can in to that? (laughter)

Why did anybody ask question and Why ask any question.

Devotee: - [Not Clear – 00:42:50]

What did Mahā Viṣṇu do?

Devotee: [Not Clear – 00:43:00]

His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami: - What is the Sheshsai sai?

Devotee: [Not Clear – 00:43:18]

means lie down means bed Sheshasai means pastime of lying down on Shesha or the snake. The snake around big coil like a big air mattress like coil by mystic power he become lite he floats on the water on that like everyone in the west people loves to go on week end and go on the air mattress and float in the water. You saw perverted reflection.

Kṛṣṇa also like to float on the water but he realizes the snake mattress He lies on Ananta Shesha. He enjoys the same thing want to relax He go on lie down on water and just floating in the way infact he is relaxing.

So, some time Kṛṣṇa wants to enjoy like that Shesha nāga He coils up like a big like they have the light and but it very soft and He just floating He floating there in the water relaxing and Yoga nidrā then He dream and in His dream are the material world. But He goes in the water and then I said I go and sit on you and then you make float it sounds he is crazy.

Lord Chaitanya sat on to him that means Advaita had to manifest his spiritual that potency just make him light [Not Clear – 00:44:56]

Lord Chaitanya just sit on him He just lie down He is still floating on top of the water.
