Ornaments of Lord Nityānanda, Part 1
Under the section: The Pastimes of Nityānanda

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.325

sapārṣada nityānandera vividha premavilāsa

kakhana vā āpane vasiyā vīrāsane
nācāyena sakala bhakata jane jane

Jayapatākā Swami: Sometimes Lord Nityānanda would sit in the vīrāsana posture and have the devotees dance one after another before Him.

Anyone knows the vīrāsana? ? That’s the vīrāsana

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.326

eko sevakera nṛtye hena raṅga haya
catur-dike dekhi yena prema-vanyā-maya

Jayapatākā Swami: So much happiness was there in seeing each sevaka's dancing, seeing all the four directions filled with a flood of Kṛṣṇa-prema, of ecstatic love.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.327

mahājhaḍe paḍe yena kadalaka-vana
ei-mata prema-sukhe paḍe sarva-jana

Jayapatākā Swami: Just as the falling of banana trees due to a great storm, in the same way everyone would fall due to ecstatic love.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.328

āpane ye kahe mahāprabhu nityānanda
sei-mata karilena sarva bhakta-vṛnda

Jayapatākā Swami: Whatever Lord Nityānanda Mahāprabhu would personally tell to any devotee, that way all the assembled devotees did.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.329

niravadhi śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya-saṅkīrtana
karāyena, karena laiyā bhakta-gaṇa

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Nityānanda would induce all the devotees to constantly engage in the Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya saṅkīrtana. Lord Nityānanda would engage all the devotees with Him.

Purport (By His Divine Grace Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Śrīla Prabhupāda): Śrī Nityānanda Prabhu always engaged the devotees in hari-saṅkīrtana, as inaugurated by Śrī Caitanya. Through the songs He sang He would reveal that Śrī Gaurasundara was nondifferent from Vrajendra-nandana.

Jayapatākā Swami: How Lord Kṛṣṇa came in the form of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya to inaugurate this process of saṅkīrtana is inconceivable mercy. So, those who are intelligent will take this mercy given by Lord Caitanya.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.330

hena se lāgilā prema prakāśa karite
se-i haya vihvala, ye āise dekhite

Jayapatākā Swami: In this way Nityānanda Prabhu He started to manifest such loving ecstasy that out of curiosity if someone just came to see, they would become completely overwhelmed.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.331

ye sevaka yakhane ye icchā kare mane
se-i āsi’ upasanna haya tata-kṣaṇe

Jayapatākā Swami: Whatever a devotee desired or thought about it in his mind, then at that moment that thing would immediately come, it would be manifested, I heard in the realization today, someone said that he was thinking I would like to read a book and immediately someone came and said here is a book for you. Anything that I though of it was was brought to me. What is being said here, it is practically realized in the saṅkīrtana or parikramā.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.332

ei-mata parānanda prema-sukha-rase
kṣaṇa hena keha nā jānila tina māse

Jayapatākā Swami: In this way the transcendental nectar of the ecstatic loving happiness passed like a moment, no one realized that three months had gone by.

Caitanya Bhāgavata, Antya-khaṇḍa 5.333

nityānandera alaṅkāra-paridhāna—

tabe nityānanda prabhuvara kata dine
alaṅkāra parite hailā icchā mane

Jayapatākā Swami: Then Lord Nityānanda Prabhu after so many days desired to decorate Himself with some ornaments.
