20201019 Zoom Participation in NMP Realization Night

The following is a zoom Participation in the Nabadwip Mandal Parikcrama realization night by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja on October19th, 2020 in Śrī Dhāma Māyāpur, India.

mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-guruṁ dīna-tāraṇam
paramānandaṁ mādhavaṁ śrī caitanya iśvaram

hariḥ oṁ tat sat

Jayapatākā Swami: I am very happy that all of you attended the virtual parikramā. Lord Nityānanda Prabhu, He regularly performed this parikramā. Sometimes He would visit the nine islands in one day, sometimes he would do it for nine days. Like that He regularly observed Navadvīpa-maṇḍala-parikramā. By doing this parikramā we get spiritual blessings from Lord Caitanya. It says that Lord Nārāyaṇa has Bhū-śakti, Śrī-śakti and Nīlā-śakti. Bhū, Śrī and Nīlā. Lakṣmīpriyā is I think is one of the śaktis, and Viṣṇupriyā is another other śaktis. Navadvīpa dhāma is the Nīlā-śakti. So the holy dhāma of Navadvīpa is also one of the śaktis of the Lord. And Rādhārāṇī played on the flute and attracted Kṛṣṇa here. Kṛṣṇa said that this place will be non-different from Vṛndāvana, and all the holy places will also be here. So by participating in this virtual parikramā, you have visited so many holy places. So this is a special blessing. And you may think I already came for the parikramā before but Lord Nityānanda did it again and again and again! Because each time you do, you get some special blessings and more realization. And in this way by redoing the pastimes of Lord Caitanya by visiting the holy dhāma, through the parikramā, you get the special mercy. I think all of you are blessed and I hope that you will do parikramā again and again.

Actually, the Navadvīpa dhāma is non-different from Goloka Vṛndāvana. If you have the mercy of Prauḍha Māyā and Vṛddha Śiva we can enter into the esoteric aspect of the dhāma. I think that you all visited Sīmantadvīpa. There Sīmantinī Devī got the dust from the lotus feet of Lord Gaurāṅga. So like that the mercy is such that even Pārvatī, Śiva, the devas and devīs, they want to get the mercy of Lord Caitanya. And we thank the organizers for giving all of you this chance to observe this Navadvīpa-maṇḍala-parikramā, in the holy month of Puruṣottama. Actually, the regular event is recommended during the Kārtika month and Gaura Pūrṇimā time. But since Puruṣottama month is 16 times more powerful than all the months together, therefore, it is a great opportunity and by sitting in your house, you could observe the parikramā. By worshiping Kṛṣṇa mentally we get the same result.

The story in the Nectar of Devotion is how a brāhmaṇa was cooking sweet rice every day. One day, he felt the sweet rice was too hot and he burnt his finger and he woke up from his meditation. And he saw the finger had a blister. And Nārāyaṇa in the spiritual world He was laughing! And played a joke on this devotee! And so Lakṣmī asked Him, “Why are You laughing?” “Bring him above.” Therefore, the brāhmaṇa was transferred to the spiritual world.
