mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim

So today is the holy day of Rāma Navami. Today we had the abhiṣeka of the śālagrāma-śilā and we celebrated the Sītā Rāma Lakṣmaṇa Hanumān darbār. So, the Lord says, He comes in every yuga. And so, in the Tretā-yuga He came as Lord Rāma. And He fought with Rāvaṇa. So, like Hiraṇyakaśipu had a benediction, that he could not be killed by a man or animal or deva. Similarly, Rāvaṇa had a benediction that he could not be killed by demon or deva. But he did not bother to be killed by human being or animals because as a rākṣasa, he used to eat humans and animals. So, for him humans were insignificant. So, Lord Rāma came as a human being. But actually, He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. So, He with an army of monkeys, attacked Rāvaṇa, and killed all his sons and soldiers, and finally Lord Rāma liberated Rāvaṇa. Today is the appearance day of Lord Rama. He appeared in Ayodhya. Today HH Lokanātha Svāmī was telling how when He came to Modadruma-dvīpa and said this is not different from Ayodhya, He was smiling very happy. He said that how He comes in Kali-yuga as Gauuuurāṅgaaaaa! So, He explained His pastimes in Kali-yuga. Sītā was asking Him, why He was smiling. He said “well, in Kali-yuga I come here. At that time, You see in this līlā, You will get banished to the forest. In Kali-yuga līlā I will banish Myself to the forest. And in this līlā I worship a golden form of You and in that līlā, You will worship a golden form of Me.” So, He was explaining how His two ecstasies, one sambhoga in which one is able to associate with the Lord, and then there is vipralambha, separation. And in the separation, one’s ecstasy is more intense. So, we followers of Lord Caitanya, especially observe the vipralambha. Sometimes, while we are chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Rāma, we feel great ecstasy, that we are with the Lord. Because He and His holy names are not different. But generally, we feel separation. That process of separation is called vipralambha. So, Lord Caitanya was experiencing that in His last days in Jagannātha Purī. Anyway, we will continue reading the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, and His instructions to Mukunda.

Thus ends the chapter “The Result of Hearing the Discussion Between Mahāprabhu and Mukunda Datta”

* * *

So, by hearing these confidential discussions, between Lord Caitanya and His devotee Mukunda, one can get the personal darshan, see the Lord Gaurahari, face to face! So, these things are considered confidential to the Vedas. They show how the Lord is exchanging His pastimes with HIs devotees. This is something which is very confidential. Not only is the Lord exchanging His intimate association with the devotees, simply by hearing it, if one feels spiritual bliss, then he will certainly see Lord Caitanya, FACE TO FACE! HARIBOL!

What time is it?

So, read this…

“Vidvān Gaurāṅga Prabhu desired to release the second canto of Śrī Vālmīki Rāmāyaṇa on this day, Rāma-navamī, as an offering to Your Divine Grace and Śrīla Prabhupāda. But unfortunately, due to lockdown, we could not bring the books. By your blessings, Vidvān Gaurāṅga Prabhu completed the translation of the canto two.”

So, we accept this Vālmīki-Rāmāyaṇa and we officially release it today by virtual release! Nice books!

(Will be available on Amazon.com and Amazon.in soon after lockdown.) Guru Mahārāja said: Soon after the lockdown! Ha! Ha!

Announcement: Bhagavad-gītā sponsorships from Russian devotees was announced.

“Dear Guru Mahārāja, Russia is also on self-lockdown. To celebrate your Vyāsa-pūjā, Moscow disciples have sponsored on your behalf, one day of deity worship in the Moscow temple, including the daily rent. Also, they will perform fire yajña for your good health, some money collected for Vyāsa-pūjā feast we transferred to Māyāpur to sponsor some Bhagavad-gītās. Your servant, Nārāyaṇī Rādhā devī dāsī. On behalf of Russian devotees.”

Apparently, the organizers of the Vyāsa-pūjā have secured a mahā Zoom account with 10,000 receivers! So, I think 100 people will be able to speak. So, we will have a virtual Vyāsa-pūjā.

More announcements for Bhagavad-gītā sponsorships made.

Haribol!

(Also, Chinese devotees and other devotees’ contributions to Devotee Care and Food for Life were announced.)

Haribol! Gauuuurāṅga!

Question: We hear the childhood pastimes of Lord Caitanya. Why don’t we hear the childhood pastimes of Lord Rāmacandra?

Jayapatākā Swami: I think that if you get the first and second canto of the Rāmāyaṇa, it will reveal some of the childhood pastimes.

So, we thank all the devotees who are helping with the Devotee Care and Food for Life. We distributed packets of dry prasad to all the devotees, on the occasion of Rāma-navamī. Normally, we have a big feast but with the lockdown, that is not possible, so we distributed some dry prasad. Did you get it? They are giving out now.

Question: Facebook. Ojasvinī Rādhikā devī dāsī: Hare Kṛṣṇa dear Guru Mahārāja, Please accept my respectful obeisances. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda! (Jayapatākā Swami: Accepted) Before going to spiritual world with Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu, we will have to appear in a planet where Lord Gaurāṅga is now?

Jayapatākā Swami: Well, that will be very nice though! I don’t think we have to! But that would be very nice, if we could associate with the Lord. Sometimes it says that to attain to Goloka Vṛndāvana, we take birth in the pastimes of Lord Kṛṣṇa in Vṛndāvana. And then after being in His pastimes, we go back to the spiritual world. Now, it is not clear if that is for all cases, or for some cases, I have to study that.
