20240909 Hare Kṛṣṇa National Convention Address

mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-guruṁ dīna-tāraṇam
paramānanda-mādhavam śrī caitanya īśvaram
Harihi oṁ tat sat

Jayapatākā Swami: So, this was for me, a very wonderful occasion! I could see devotees from all over Malaysia. I could see devotees from Khasadeśa. I could see devotees from Singapore and various other places like Australia and other places.

As I fell sick in Vṛndāvana, and was taken to Delhi. I was in Delhi for about three months and this the first event I have come for after that. I took an overnight flight from Kolkata to Singapore and drove from Singapore to Johor and then I came here. So, this was a very impressive thing for me. So I could be present, taking this flight since my health issue. I was very concerned that everyone should try to preach Lord Caitanya’s message. Śrīla Prabhupāda had expressed this desire that he wanted Lord Caitanya’s mercy to be spread everywhere. So, I try to express this in my speeches and it was quite interesting for me to be in this august assembly. It has been a long time since I have been able to physically visit Malaysia. And so when I heard that there was a National Convention, I was very interested to be a part of it. More than my desires have been fulfilled! Because devotees have come here from different parts of the world. I hope everybody else had transcendental joy! Hare Kṛṣṇa!
