Jayapatākā Swami: Jaya Pañca-tattva! śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya prabhu-nityānanda śrī-advaita gadādhara śrīvāsādi-gaura-bhakta-vṛnda. Haribol!

So when Kṛṣṇa came back from the Kurukṣetra war, all the people in Dvārakā were feeling great separation. And when Kṛṣṇa came to the border of Dvārakā country, He took out His conch shell and blew on it. So the sound reached Dvārakā and everyone knew that Kṛṣṇa had come back. And all the residents of Dvārakā came trunning to see Kṛṣṇa. It was not that they had seen Kṛṣṇa earlier, and so they were not excited now. When they heard Kṛṣṇa, they were so eager and enthusiastic to see Kṛṣṇa that they all ran forward. The respectable ladies went on the rooftops to see Kṛṣṇa. And there was always something new and fresh in Kṛṣṇa. It is not they thought, oh, Kṛṣṇa is back! They always had newer and newer bliss to see Kṛṣṇa! Kṛṣṇa is most beautiful. And it is not that anybody would get tired looking at Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa’s queens, they were eager to see Kṛṣṇa again. They embraced Kṛṣṇa in their hearts. But because of their shyness, they did not go directly. They sent their children ahead to embrace their Father. In this way, they also in their mind, they were embracing Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and they could realize this at every moment. They were seeing Kṛṣṇa, as if it was a new experience! Vraja is madhuram, madhuram, madhuram! Sweetness, sweetness, sweetness! And Mathurā is madhuram, madhuram. Dvārakā is madhuram.

I heard, in the spiritual world, Lord Kṛṣṇa, He goes to Mathurā for two weeks. But in this world, Rādhārāṇī was cursed and Kṛṣṇa was away for like a hundred years. So Sometimes Kṛṣṇa in Vraja, He kept His divinity as a secret. When Kṛṣṇa lifted the Govardhana hill and gave shelter to all the cows, and the vraja-vāsīs said, who is your son? He just lifted a mountain! Then Nanda Mahārāja revealed that Garga Muni, the astrologer came and said, your Son has the power of Nārāyaṇa. So, people were satisfied that Kṛṣṇa had supernatural powers. But they did not know how He had the power of Nārāyaṇa. He was the original Nārāyaṇa.

When He returned to Dvārakā, the dvārakā-vāsīs were very happy! In the city of Dvārakā there were a lot of lakes and fountains. It was very beautiful! So we want also Māyāpur should be beautiful! We want that people, when they come here, they are overwhelmed by the beauty! Now there is an app in Māyāpur called Māyāpur App. What is happening, where in the temple, what is going on where, where is prasāda available, everything is there in the App. Of course, you may know everything, but still the local devotees can put the App on their mobile phones. And there is a lot of information that would be handy. And when one comes to Māyāpur one can get a lot of experience. So we want that Māyāpur will be very attractive. And people will come here to enjoy. That we want to teach them that spiritual life can be very enjoyable.

The Temple of the Vedic Planetarium, Śrīla Prabhupāda Samādhi, these are the jewels of Māyāpur! And there will also be parks, forests of Vṛndāvana, for enjoyment. So, we are trying to develop Māyāpur in this way.

Our temples in Bangladesh, they are giving shelter and food to many people. Some of the facilities, we are trying to help so that they can do this sevā. And the GBC is trying to raise funds in different parts of the world. So, here we are trying to create some nice facilities in Māyāpur. So, here we have Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava Aṣṭa-sakhi, Rādhā Mādhava Māyāpurcandra, Pañca-tattva, Śrī Narasiṁhadeva, Śrīla Prabhupāda and many other Deities and we regularly have so many festivals and ceremonies. Some devotees go to Śrīla Prabhupāda’s Puṣpa-samādhi every day for maṅgala-ārati. About 50 devotees are there. In the Māyāpur TV, maṅgala-ārati shows maṅgala-ārati in the Samādhi and maṅgala-ārati here in the temple. When I was in Delhi, sick, I would see the maṅgala-ārati online.

So you are very fortunate that you can attend the different festivities in the temple. And in Dvārakā, they would have different activities every day. Like, Kṛṣṇa’s mother Devakī and Vasudeva, they were very happy to greet Kṛṣṇa. And Vasudeva had other wives, they also felt that Kṛṣṇa was their son. Like this, Kṛṣṇa, He would expand into 16,108 Kṛṣṇas, and would come out of the palace and combine together before getting on to the chariot. Then Kṛṣṇa would drive on His chariot and go to the Vṛṣni rājya-sabhā. This way, He sometimes would go to the rājya-sabhā, assembly of the palace. When the chariot would come back, again 16,108 Kṛṣṇas would get into the respective palaces. So, one time Nārada Muni he was going around and saw the different Kṛṣṇas in the different palaces. The yogīs, they can expand themselves into eight or ten forms. But they have only one emotion in all the expansions. But Kṛṣṇa’s expansions, each one was completely separate. One He would be playing chess, another Kṛṣṇa would be talking to His minister. So, He was seeing that every Kṛṣṇa had a different emotion, a different activity.

Now Lord Kṛṣṇa has come as a devotee, as Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu! He came to teach us how to practice bhakti-yoga.  Just as Kṛṣṇa expands as Balarāma, Lord Caitanya expanded as Nitāi. And Kṛṣṇa has His avatāras, Advaita Gosāñī is His avatāra. And His energies, He has potencies, internal potency is Gadādhara. And His jīva-śakti, pure devotees, were represented by Śrīvāsa and many others. So this is the Pañca-tattva. So, we want the devotees to develop their attachment and affection to Lord Caitanya and His different forms. In the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium, the Pañca-tattva would be in the middle. Right side would Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava Aṣṭa-sakhis, Rādhā Mādhava Māyāpurcandra. On the other side of the Pañca-tattva, left side would be the guru-paramparā. In the East Wing there is Lord Narasiṁhadeva. On the west side is the Science Museum of the Vedic Planetarium. So now we are working on this Science Museum.

Navadvīpa is non-different from Vṛndāvana. And Siddha Jagannātha dāsa Bābājī came to Māyāpur from Vṛndāvana and here, he achieved perfection in devotional service. In Māyāpur dhāma, like in Vṛndāvana dhāma you get 1000 times the benefit. But in Vṛndāvana, you also get a 1000 times the reaction for any offence! In that way, Siddha Jagannātha dāsa Bābājī, felt that Vṛndāvana is too hot. Here in Navadvīpa Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu incarnated and gives mercy but He does not notice the offences so much. So, Siddha Jagannātha dāsa Bābājī thought that Māyāpur is better!

We hope that all the devotees would take advantage of the mercy of Nitāi Gaura! Haribol! Haribol! Haribol! śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya prabhu-nityānanda śrī-advaita gadādhara śrīvāsādi-gaura-bhakta-vṛnda! Hari Hari Hari Hari bol!

So we want everybody to get some mercy of the Pañca-tattva. By the mercy of Pañca-tattva you can get devotion for Rādhā Mādhava!

This is Māyāpur Helpline number: 9434073254 devotees can get any information regarding Māyāpur. It is difficult for me to read. I have to have an operation in my eye. Any questions?

Question by Bhakti-vijaya Bhāgavata Swami: Thank you for the very nice class Guru Mahārāja! We keep waiting for the Saturday class! It is not just a class but a special blessing from the spiritual master for the disciples. Devotees want to know how to celebrate Janmāṣṭamī at home and Śrīla Prabhupāda’s Vyāsa-pūjā at home?

Jayapatākā Swami: We would like them as much as possible to come in to the temple. Those who want to observe in their house, they could have a number of devotees coming together. There some can do some things for Lord Kṛṣṇa. You can read the Kṛṣṇa Book, you can perform abhiṣeka. See what we are doing in the temple and you can do a similar thing in your house. In a Nāma-haṭṭa, they have 20 or 50 devotees, they can do a program together.
