Caitanya Candrodaya Nāṭaka 8.5: gopīnāthācāryaḥ: Bhaṭṭācārya!

Gopīnāthācārya: Bhaṭṭācārya, has someone arranged a residence where the Lord will stay?

Caitanya Candrodaya Nāṭaka 8.6: Bhaṭṭācārya: (aside) Ācārya, the king has arranged it.

Caitanya Candrodaya Nāṭaka 8.7 : Gopīnāthācārya: (aside) What residence?

Caitanya Candrodaya Nāṭaka 8.8: bhaṭṭācāryaḥ: Kāśī Miśra's house.

Caitanya Candrodaya Nāṭaka 8.9: Gopīnāthācārya: Well done! Well done! It is near the Siṁha-dvāra gate. He may very easily see Lord Jagannātha.

(They leave the ocean shore and enter the town of Jagannatha Puri).

Caitanya Candrodaya Nāṭaka 8.10: (Enter Kāśī Miśra, some servants of Lord Jagannātha, and the superintendent of the temple. The servants of Jagannātha carry in their hands prasāda garlands worn by Lord Jagannātha).

Caitanya Candrodaya Nāṭaka 8.11: Sārvabhauma: There He is! There is Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Svāmī! (He eagerly approaches).

Caitanya Candrodaya Nāṭaka 8.12: Sārvabhauma: My Lord, these are the servants of Lord Jagannātha. This person is named Kāśī Miśra. This is the superintendent of the temple.

Caitanya Candrodaya Nāṭaka 8.13: (Kāśī Miśra and the superintendent approach and offer daṇḍavat obeisances. The servants of Lord Jagannātha place the garland around Lord Caitanya's neck and then they also offer obeisances).

Caitanya Candrodaya Nāṭaka 8.14: Bhagavān: Ah! Why do Lord Jagannātha's servants worship Me? Why is this wrong action done?

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Caitanya is playing the part of a devotee so naturally He is very humble and He offers His obeisances to the servants of Lord Jagannātha and he embraces them which is a system of considering someone equal.

(Lord Chaitanya offers obeisances to everyone and embraces them).

Caitanya Candrodaya Nāṭaka 8.15: The Servants of Lord Jagannātha: Sārvabhauma, now is the time of Lord Jagannātha's midday nap. Will the svāmī go now to Lord Jagannātha, or first rest and bathe and then go to Him?

Caitanya Candrodaya Nāṭaka 8.16: Sārvabhauma: First He will bathe and then go to see the Lord.

Caitanya Candrodaya Nāṭaka 8.17:Kāśī Miśra: Please come this way. (He leads them to his house).

Caitanya Candrodaya Nāṭaka 8.18: Sārvabhauma: Lord, this is Kāśī Miśra's house. It was specially cleaned and prepared for You. The Lord may enter now.

(He enters. The servants of Lord Jagannātha offer obeisances and exit).

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Caitanya showed His four handed form as Nārāyaṇa and embraced Kāśī Miśra so in this way He gave causeless mercy to Kāśī Miśra.

Caitanya Carita Mahā Kāvya 13.63

Translation: Hearing that Mahāprabhu had arrived, Kāśī Miśra, destroyer of all sin and darkness, saw him with four arms, as he desired. He offered respects and became blissful.

Caitanya Carita Mahā Kāvya 13.64

Translation: Touched by the Lord’s mercy and the dust from his lotus feet, with hairs standing on end, overwhelmed by intense bliss, Kāśī Miśra shone.

Caitanya Carita Mahā Kāvya 13.65

Translation: By Gaurāṅga’s great mercy, Kāśī Miśra brought the gṛha-lakṣmī of Jagannātha under his control. Who can measure his great glory?

Caitanya Carita Mahā Kāvya 13.66-67

Translation: Who can describe in words Kāśī Miśra, who carried out all the orders of Gaurāṅga’s lotus feet, understanding his desires?

Who can understand this person who, understanding the Lord’s mind, made various detailed arrangements as he saw fit, following the festival rules?

Jayapatākā Swami: So, Kāśī Miśra prabhu understood the mind of Lord Caitanya and spontaneously made the appropriate arrangements. So in this way He fully satisfied Lord Caitanya and Lord Caitanya satisfied Kāśī Miśra by showing His transcendental form, by embracing him and accepting his service.

Thus ends the chapter entitled, Fortunate Kāśī Miśra,
Under the Section, The Lord Returns to Jagannātha Purī

When we go to see Lord Caitanya’s pastime places in Jagannātha Purī, one of the places is Kāśī Miśra's house. And there is a room where Lord Caitanya had stayed which is known as Gaura Gambhīra and there Lord Caitanya stayed during His time in Jagannatha Purī. Hare Kṛṣṇa
