mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-gurun dina tāriṇam
paramānanda-mādhavam śrī caitanya īśvaram
Harihi oṁ tat sat

Jayapatākā Swami: These Deities were installed by Śrīla Prabhupāda. He cried before the Deities. So, these Deities are very merciful! This place is known as New Pānihāṭi dhāma! And the devotees here did not know the significance of Pānihāṭi dhāma. This festival is very special. One of the places where Lord Caitanya stays eternally! It is not a small thing! But I will talk more later.

Last night Marīci dāsa was reading to me! He is the one! How Kṛṣṇa’s flute was playing in the ears of the gopīs! The gopīs could not hear anything else! And there are so many glories of the flute. At the end the sound representation of the flute is:

Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/
Hare Rāma,Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare!

So Marīci dāsa did you read that to me? So this Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra Śrīla Prabhupāda gave us is a very, very important thing! Nārada muni said to Lord Brahmā, I travel all over the universe, how can I be saved from the influence of Kali-yuga? Kali-yuga?! Lord Brahmā said that there is a confidential mantra, if you chant that then you will be protected. Then Nārada muni asked for his own benefit and all our benefit, what is the confidential mantra? Then Lord Brahmā said there are sixteen words:

Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/
Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare!

iti ṣoḍaśakaṁ nāmnāṁ
kali-kalmaṣa-nāśanam
nātaḥ parataropāyaḥ
sarva-vedeṣu dṛśyate
[Kali-santaraṇa Upaniṣad]

This is the best alternative found in all the Vedas. In this way, Nārada Muni was saved from the influence of Kali-yuga. So those who do not chant will not be free from the influence of Kali-yuga. If you want to be free from the influence of Kali-yuga, then chant:

Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/
Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare!

Kṛṣṇa and His name are non-different. Even Jagāi Mādhāi, they criticized Lord Caitanya by name. Lord Caitanya is this, Lord Caitanya is that. Nimāi is like this and like that. So by saying the name of Lord Caitanya in criticism, even in blasphemy, they got purified!! What to speak if we chant with devotion and love!

I used to have trouble, my mind used to wander around. So I used to carry a small book. If I thought of anything about the management, I would write it down in my book. Then I would go back to my chanting. But now, I don’t have that problem! I have another problem! I am always thinking about the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra, even if I go to the bathroom I chant the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra! I chant one round using my fingers. So much bliss! So much nectar! In 1968, I got my initiation. I am now only realizing the effect partially! So keep on chanting, more and more will be revealed to you!
