20260517 Message to ISKCON New Tālavana Devotees

17 May 2026|English|Public Address|Dallas, USA

mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-gurun dina tāriṇam
paramānanda-mādhavam śrī caitanya īśvaram
Harihi oṁ tat sat

Jayapatākā Swami: My obeisances to Śrīla Prabhupāda and I am very glad that New Tālavana is moving Their Deities to a new temple on this auspicious day of the first day of the Puruṣottama month! Lord Kṛṣṇa told the Puruṣottama month that she would be His special month. And that any devotional service done in this month would have one thousand times the spiritual benefits. It is not good for material puṇya-karma but it is very good for spiritual activities. So we would also like to chant:

Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/
Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare

So Śrīla Prabhupāda wanted that New Tālavana should be developed. We are very grateful to the donors, to the devotees, who have made this possible. I hope to visit New Tālavana after the Sādhu-saṅga festival, Kṛṣṇa willing. I would have been there today but there are certain restrictions for my travel.

Kṛṣṇe matir astu! May everybody be blessed on this very auspicious occasion. Hare Kṛṣṇa!

Your well-wisher always,

Jayapatākā Swami
