One cannot be saved from going astray without sadhu-saṅga and the mercy of the guru.
The Lord has said:
‘eka’ aṅga sādhe, keha sādhe ‘bahu’ aṅga
‘niṣṭhā’ haile upajaya premera taraṅga
“When one is firmly fixed in devotional service, whether he executes one or many processes of devotional service, the waves of love of Godhead will awaken.”
Jayapatākā Swami: So, by performing different angas of devotional service, here it says that our love for Kṛṣṇa awakens. I don’t know if everyone has the same definition of love for Kṛṣṇa. But it seems here that they are very liberal in describing love for Kṛṣṇa and if you compare this in the material world, it is not difficult. People say, oh, I love this! But when we express our appreciation to Lord Kṛṣṇa then you can say I love Kṛṣṇa!
TEXT: Among the practitioners of one limb, the Lord gives examples of saints like, Parīkṣit, Śuka, Prahlāda, Lakṣmī, Pṛthu, Akrūra, Hanumān, Arjuna, Bali, etc. The example of King Ambarīṣa is mentioned for the practice of many limbs.
Jayapatākā Swami: So one person, he was expert in one area, so those examples are given. But we may perform all the aṅgas or more than one. So, that is also appreciated. But if we do one perfectly, then that is enough to deliver us.
Pāramhaṁsya is not without vidhi.
As long as there is lust in the heart during sādhana, there is the dependency on varṇāśrama-dharma and so on. Those who renounce material desire and perform sādhana as per the rules of the scriptures are freed from the three debts.

“O King, one who has given up all material duties and has taken full shelter of the lotus feet of Mukunda, who offers shelter to all, is not indebted to the demigods, great sages, ordinary living beings, relatives, friends, mankind or even one’s forefathers who have passed away. Since all such classes of living entities are part and parcel of the Supreme Lord, one who has surrendered to the Lord’s service has no need to serve such persons separately.”
Jayapatākā Swami: So if we serve Kṛṣṇa, then automatically all the debts to the other living entities who are all part of Kṛṣṇa, are automatically resolved. And so we are trying to serve Kṛṣṇa and that will settle all the problems.
Today, we had Haṁsa Vāhana visiting our campus and we were able to offer Him some abhiṣeka. Then previously all day it was the appearance day of Śrī Lalitā sakhi. Like that, I would like to thank Gaurāṅgī Gāndharvikā devī dāsī because she helped in all these observations, and I was able to offer some fan to Rādhā Mādhava. So, I thought I would mention this. Of course, you see Māyāpur is the land of festivals. Today we had multiple festivals. So I am very grateful to all the devotees to observe these festivities. Haribol!

“If a person gives up all material desires and completely engages in the transcendental loving service of Kṛṣṇa, as enjoined in the revealed scriptures, he is never indebted to the demigods, sages or forefathers.” (Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Madhya 22.140)
Jayapatākā Swami: I already spoke on this.
TEXT: When niṣkāma-sādhana appears, vidhi-dharma is abandoned. However, they are not inclined to forbidden acts. It is not possible for a pure devotee to commit sins. If by chance, the sin is committed in ignorance, still karmic atonement is not necessary.

“One who has thus given up all other engagements and has taken full shelter at the lotus feet of Hari, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is very dear to the Lord. Indeed, if such a surrendered soul accidentally commits some sinful activity, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is seated within everyone’s heart, immediately takes away the reaction to such sin.”
Jayapatākā Swami: Sometimes, devotes ask what atonement should they do? Unless something is something regular, it is considered an accidental fall down. And one should just continue with their devotional service. And this is also confirmed by the śāstra.
Tonight, we were supposed to have initiations. But I had them in the morning. So tonight, I had two meetings. And then now I am giving the class. So Śrīla Prabhupāda said if we get the President of the United States and the King of England, then Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura would take you back to the spiritual world! So I was thinking, that it would be nice if we could achieve this! Anyway, we don’t know what happens! Any questions?
