mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-guruṁ dīna-tāraṇam
paramānanda-mādhavam śrī caitanya īśvaram
Harihi oṁ tat sat

Jayapatākā Swami: Yesterday in the chat they had put that the mike was not working. We have to read the chats! It is not just Haribol! Someone may write to us! Any questions?

Question: Given the increase in demoniac activities in Kali-yuga how often should we go out on Harināma saṅkīrtana?

Jayapatākā Swami: As much as possible!

I think I saw some long question!

If you want to offer your prayers, then stick a question in it!

Question: How to distinguish the subtle difference between sin and offence?

Jayapatākā Swami: A sin is something against the regulative principles, like telling a lie, stealing, so many things. But those can be counteracted to some extent by tulasī worship, if we don’t commit the seventh offence, which is like I plan I will do the sin and then I will chant, then I will do this thing again! If we are planning to do a sinful activity and then trying eradicate it, the eradication will not work, because you are doing it intentionally. But an offence is something in connection with Kṛṣṇa or Vaiṣṇavas, like the ten offences to chanting the holy name. It is not as easy to get rid of the offences. One actually has to have a change of heart.

Question: So much opulence in Vaikuṇṭha. Similar opulence is of shining Vraja also. Are these jewels also in Navadvīpa? What are these nine jewels?

Jayapatākā Swami: In Navadvīpa, there are nine islands. Each island is connected with one of the practices of devotional service. So, this Navadvīpa was designed by Rādhārāṇī, for establishing devotional service. Hare Kṛṣṇa!

Kṛṣṇe matir astu!
