Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, 16.70

ihāre nāriluṅ kṛṣṇa-nāma kahāite!”

Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, 16.72

mane mane jape, mukhe nā kare ākhyāna
ei ihāra manaḥ-kathā—kari anumāna”

Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, 16.73

anyadina prabhura ādeśe bālaka purīdāsera maunabhaṅga o śloka-paṭhana:—

āra dina kahena prabhu,—‘paḍa, purī-dāsa’
ei śloka kari’ teṅho karilā prakāśa

Translation: Another day, when Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said to the boy, “Recite, My dear Purī dāsa,” the boy composed the following verse and expressed it before everyone.

Jayapatākā Swami: So, the boy, to please Lord Caitanya, had composed a verse.

Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, 16.74

kavi-karṇapūra-kṛta ācāryaśatake (1)—

Translation: “Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa is just like a bluish lotus flower for the ears; He is ointment for the eyes, a necklace of indranīla gems for the chest, and universal ornaments for the gopī damsels of Vṛndāvana. Let that Lord Śrī Hari, Kṛṣṇa, be glorified.”

Jayapatākā Swami: The boy, he composed this beautiful verse glorifying the Lord, about Lord Kṛṣṇa.

Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, 16.75

sāta vatsarera śiśu, nāhi adhyayana
aiche śloka kare,—lokera camatkāra mana

Translation: Although the boy was only seven years old and still had no education, he composed such a nice verse. Everyone was struck with wonder.

Jayapatākā Swami: Children, ladies if they compose nice verses or preach the philosophy, people are naturally struck with wonder. Because usually children and ladies don’t say the philosophy, but when they do, people are very impressed.

Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, 16.76

prabhukṛpā-māhātmya varṇana:—

caitanya-prabhura ei kṛpāra mahimā
brahmādi deva yāra nāhi pāya sīmā

Translation: This is the glory of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s causeless mercy, which even the demigods, headed by Lord Brahmā, cannot estimate.

Jayapatākā Swami: If Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu bestows His mercy on someone they can compose beautiful verses.
