28 Feb 2022|English|Question and Answer Session|Madras (Chennai)

Anukampita Rādhikā devī dāsī: What to do if a neophyte devotee hears Māyāvādī philosophy by mistake. As it is said the Māyāvādī philosophy even is the reason for fall down of a Mahā-Bhāgavata. What will a common man do? Please forgive my mistakes dear Gurudeva.

Jayapatākā Swami: As soon as a person is conscious that it is Māyāvādī philosophy, he should look at the deities or look at the sun blink and then pray for Lord Caitanya, ask Lord Caitanya for forgiveness.

Akshaj, Bhopal, India: As we know we had tendency to lord over nature so we are given the opportunity to enjoy this world. So can we say we are also Māyāvādī because we want to lord over nature?

Jayapatākā Swami: You see wanting to lord over the material nature is puruṣa. Generally, the residents of the material world are trying to compete with Kṛṣṇa, they want to enjoy. But the real Kṛṣṇa conscious understanding is that by serving the Lord we get the highest enjoyment. When He is pleased with us, we are very pleased.

Alright!

So please offer your prayers for all the devotees in Ukraine and neighboring countries, so that they get over these crises and proceed in Krsna consciousness. Today is the Vyāsa-pūjā of late Śrīla Vrajendranandana Swami. I went to the Chennai temple and saw Śrīla Prabhupāda, and the Deities of Gaura Nitāi, Śrī Śrī Rādhā Kṛṣṇa and Śrī Rukmiṇī, Kṛṣṇa, Satyabhāmā and Lord Jagannātha, Baladeva, Subhadrā, Sudarśana cakra, Lord Narasiṁhadeva, and there were many devotees there. I was very pleased, and I offered some flowers to Śrīla Vrajendranandana Swami Mahārāja.
