bhaktagaṇasaṅge ālālanātha-āgamana :—
bhakta-gaṇa śīghra āsi’ laila prabhura sātha
vastra-prasāda lañā tabe āilā gopīnātha

Translation: Immediately all the devotees came and partook of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s company. Afterwards, Gopīnātha Ācārya came with the garments and prasāda.

Murari Gupta Kaḍaca 3.14.1

Jayapatākā Swami: So all the Lord’s associates partook all the devotees Having the divine association of Supreme Personality of Godhead is something very rare and very wonderful, so the devotees had the opportunity to associate with Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.

Murāri Gupta Kaḍaca 3.14.2

Translation: But Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya walked forth southwards until He arrived at the temple of Ālālanātha (the Lord who cherishes all) On account of prema, Gaura's body was constantly agitated by ecstatic symptoms.

Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Madhya-līlā 7.76

Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Madhya-līlā 7.77

ālālanātha nārāyaṇa-darśane prabhura stava-nṛtya-gīta :—
premāveśe nṛtya-gīta kaila kata-kṣaṇa
dekhite āilā tāhāṅ vaise yata jana

Translation: In great ecstasy, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu danced and chanted for some time. Indeed, all the neighbors came to see Him.

Murari Gupta Kaḍaca 3.14.3

Translation: In a loud voice, He cried out repeatedly, "Kṛṣṇa! Kṛṣṇa! Kṛṣṇa!" At one moment He would roll on the ground, and the next moment He would swoon and inarticulately murmur Kṛṣṇa's names.

Murari Gupta Kaḍaca 3.14.4

Translation: And at the next moment, He would loudly sing the names, "Govinda! Kṛṣṇa! Rāma!" As He beheld the Deity of Ālālanātha His body became flooded with the ecstatic symptoms of mahā-prema.

Jayapatākā Swami: So, this Ālālanātha deity has a very special relationship with Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and when Lord Jagannātha would have this fifteen days anvasara period where He will not give darśana, Lord Caitanya would run to this Deity and pay His obeisances And there it is said that He actually melted the stone in front of the Deity They have taken the stone out and kept it in another side by the Ālālanātha temple There all the devotees could go and take darśana of the body print of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu So, here He was chanting and dancing and chanting the names of Govinda, Kṛṣṇa, Rāma

Murari Gupta Kaḍaca 3.14.5

Translation: When Gaura Hari was travelling on the path whenever He saw any man, He would embrace him. By that embrace He invested that person with full transcendental potencies Suddenly drowned within the ocean of ecstatic love for Kṛṣṇa that man would also begin to sing and dance in great bliss.

Haribol! Gaurāṇga!

Murari Gupta Kaḍaca 3.14.6

Translation: As that man was returning to his home with his body flooded by hundreds of streams of tears, he would also give the embrace of love to the members of other villages.

Murari Gupta Kaḍaca 3.14.7

Translation: They also felt great satisfaction in the bliss of prema and taking great delight they sang the names of Kṛṣṇa In this way, through the process of disciplic succession, Śrī Gaurāṅga, transformed into Vaiṣṇavas the people of all the towns and villages.

Jayapatākā Swami: So we see here that Lord Caitanya He embraced all the people He saw, giving them love of Kṛṣṇa, and they in turn embraced other people and in this way love of Kṛṣṇa flooded the land.

Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Madhya-līlā 7.78

Jayapatākā Swami: So, we see how Lord Caitanya was engaging in the harināma-saṅkīrtana, dancing in ecstasy of love of Kṛṣṇa and He would embrace all the other people and they would be overwhelmed in love of Kṛṣṇa and in this way everyone started to chant and dance Hari bol! Hari bol! Hari Hari ! So, this is the technique that the saṅkīrtana party can try, men can hug other men and ladies hug other ladies and then let everybody chant Hari Hari bol! Hare Kṛṣṇa!

Indeed, He was most beautiful for being ornamented with the ecstatic symptoms, which caused His bodily hair to stand on end tears to well up in His eyes, and His body to tremble and perspire all over.

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Caitanya’s ecstatic symptoms, with the decorations that He wore on His body and He was beautiful and with His ecstatic symptoms He was beautiful even beyond more.

His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda, said his purpose was to change the way people think We can see from this how Lord Caitanya would change the people’s thoughts and make them to be lovers of Kṛṣṇa.

We hope that these devotees who are preaching the message of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu will very seriously follow strictly in His footsteps If they follow the rules and regulations and chant sixteen rounds daily, their endeavor to preach the cult of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu will certainly be successful.
