So Śrīla Prabhupāda was going through various struggles to obtain the land and to build the temple of Vedic planetarium. He was trying to obtain land from the local villages. They were very favorable.  But somehow the Gaudiya matt was trying to obstruct and Prabhupāda had to deal with this. He wrote letters. He personally tried to get them to be positive. But for some unknown reason, they were still obstructing. He thought the area to the East to the Bhakthi Siddanta road could be a possible development and it would be a promotion for Bhakti Siddantha Saraswathi. We have just heard that Bhakti Siddanta Saraswathi Thakur has his 100th anniversary of his taking sanyas and that there is a function in the Lotus Park. He had a public program in the Lotus Park and that attracted many people but some people were obstructing. So his mood was to expand Lord Caitanya’s movement and to let people know about the pastime places of Lord Caitanya. But there were some people who did not want this to happen and there were some devotees who stood against so he wrote to Bhakti Rakshak Sridhar Maharaj to ask him to use his influence, so that the people would be favorable. I was sitting with Prabhupāda in his room. He said it emphatically that his Guru Mahārāja was always present by his side. That was everything what he meant. That he was knowing everything about how to satisfy his spiritual master. He was going to follow his Guru Mahārāja. And he was trying to help his Godbrothers by making the situations favorable and developing the temple of Vedic planetarium. But Śrīla Prabhupād he was going through so many troubles, trying to establish his ISKCON world headquarters in Māyāpur. I was present when he told the MLA member of the legislative assembly, “Just as you have a New Delhi, we should a new Navadwipa and we should develop the Māyāpur Dham and make it new and beautiful.” He was also feeding the hungry during the floods. It was attracting many people. And he wanted to attract more people. So one time Śrīla Prabhupāda he was holding his head and he said, “You don’t know what it is like to develop world spiritual society.” He was fully absorbed in expanding ISKCON for the pleasure of his Guru Mahārāja. So there were some letters and that explains his situation.

Devotee: Guru Mahārāja today is a very auspicious day because we celebrated the hundred years of sanyasa order of his Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Siddanta Saraswathi Thakur Prabhupad and in my approval they are celebrating in a big way this hundred years of the great Acharya, your spiritual grandfather. Apart from that yesterday at 10:30pm the youngest son of Śrīla Prabhupāda passed away, Vrindavan Chandra prabhu so I don’t know if you would like to comment on them. Yeah on Vrindavan Chandra prabhu as well as on Bhakti Siddanta Saraswathi hundredth sanyas anniversary. 

Guru Mahārāja: Since Vrindavan Chandra Dey accompanied Prabhupāda to Jaladuta, so we all are very thankful. And the Bureau of India is going to put it on their agenda. They already put. So they are going to do whatever is possible. 

As far as 100th anniversary of taking sanyas, in Mayapur as I have mentioned, they are having various functions. They are being held in Lotus Park and I just heard about it.

 Srila Bhakti Siddanta Saraswathi Thakur did many dynamic things like giving sanyas order to the vaishnavas. Giving second initiations to vaishnavas. So he is the basis of our Kṛṣṇa Consciousness movement. And he had this vision that there would be this Kṛṣṇa Consciousness vision all over the world. Without his steps in that direction, it would be difficult to have the Kṛṣṇa Conscious movement the way we have it. So we are very much indebted to Srila Bhakti Siddanta Saraswathi Thakur. We asked Prabhupāda many times to say something about Bhakti Siddanta Saraswathi Thakur but he would always say that he was a Vaikunta man. 

Devotee: Online question. This is from Shashimukhi Radha. Dear Guru Mahārāja. Hare Kṛṣṇa. PAMHO. How do we keep being blissful in chanting and executing devotional service even while feeling separation or fear of being physically seperated from devotees who are very dear to us.

Guru Maharaj: It says in the shastras, the most difficult of all the feeling the separation from the devotees. So naturally we want to remember the devotees all the time and devotees are very dear to us. That dearness is also a kind of ecstasy. That kind of thinking of the Lord in sambhoga or vipralamba is kind of ecstasy. So we should always be thinking of the Lord and feeling of separation gives one the ecstasy that they won’t want any other association. Just want to be always happy in Krishna consciousness.
