Hari Oṁ Tat Sat.

Gurumahārājā: I just read how Śrīla Prabhupāda, he was appreciating the Janmāsthami, Radhāsthami, Dolā Jātrā, Jhulan Yātrā. He said that those, even if they are born in caṇḍālā births, just by seeing the festival, what to speak of participating, they are accepted by the Lord as the residents of Vaikuṇṭha.

Our Jhulan yātrā, our so many devotees, are pulling Rādhā-Mādhava on the Jhulan. They are all accepted by the Lord, as His residents in Vaikuṇṭhā. So, it is a great opportunity we have to do this personal service for the Lord to pull the Jhulan, to make all this decorations. To provide the prasādam and all the different functions, the kīrtan. So, I would like to thank the youths and the devotees for making this Jhulan Yātrā festival such a glorious affair.

Kṛṣṇa says that, “It’s very hard to get Rādhārāṇī to put her arms around me.”, but in the Jhulan she gets afraid that the Jhulan is moving. So, she grabs hold of Lord Kṛṣṇa.

Haribol.......[Haribol]

So here our life and soul are the Rādhā-Mādhava deities. Prabhupāda taught us that we should see the deities as the owner of ISKCON Māyāpura, and therefore we are engaging in their service.

Normally we are busy trying to enjoy sense gratification.

Bangla anubad habe

So we are busy with the activities of the material world, but then come a festival like Jhulan yātrā.

So then, different people like the youths, their intelligence and devotion can be put together to put on a nice festival. And many people are waiting to take their turn at swinging Rādhā and Mādhava.

So, we saw mainly ladies, and whatever sin the lady does, 100% goes to the husband, but if the wife does spiritual activities like Jhulan Yātrā that blesses the whole family. [Haribol] We want that both wife and husband participate in the Jhulan yatra.

The deities are coming here to let you serve them.

The deities were personally worshipped by Śrīla Prabhupāda. So, after Prabhupāda left we installed the large deities.

We have large deities, medium sized deities, and then elephant hati processions, small sized deities.

So, these deities which are being served in the Jhulan yātrā are those deities which Prabhupāda worshipped. So, these are very special deities. They have made very nice arrangements.

I saw the Māyāpur webpage, and all the youths were making preparations.

So, this was not an accident. This happened by transcendental enthusiasm.

So very nice kīrtan is going on.

I don’t want to speak too long because it will be nice to hear the kīrtan.

I hope that you also come everyday and participate in the Jhulan yātrā, and I hope that you come everyday.

Hare Kṛṣṇa.
