20111001 Arrival Address

Following is an arrival address given by H.H. Jayāpatāka Swami Mahārāja on October 1^st 2011 in Bangalore, India

♪♪♪ nirviśeṣa-śūnyavādi-pāścātya-deśa-tāriṇe ♪♪♪

♪♪♪ śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya prabhu-nityānanda śrī-advaita  gadādhara śrīvāsādi-gaura-bhakta-vṛnda ♪♪♪

♪♪♪ Nitāi Gaura-haribol! Haribol! Haribol! Haribol! ♪♪♪

I am sorry that I cannot speak loud. So I just have to say at this voice and he will repeat. I am very happy to see all of you. I am very happy to be here in Bangalore for 5 days. Guru Mahārāja says more or less and laughs [All laugh]

In Tirupati, I underwent some therapies, some physiotherapy, some speech therapy, some eye therapy and so oṇ…. [Guru Mahārāja laughs]

So while speaking I want a microphone, they told me its two and half hours from the doctor’s office to Bangalore. We left at two, so I should have been here by 4.30, now you can see the time.

The purpose of human life is to serve Kṛṣṇa and to learn the process of Bhakti yoga, thatś the only way we can get Kṛṣṇaś associatioṇ. Through the Jnana yoga, you get impersonal Brahman, through the Hatha yoga or Astanga yoga, you can get Paramatma. By the process of Bhakti yoga, you get very dear to Kṛṣṇa. So Lord Caitanya, He predicted that every town and village in the whole world his names will be sung. So Śrīla Prabhupāda took out this mission. We are all grateful that you all are co-operatively working together, to fulfill Śrīla Prabhupāda’s dreams. [Guru Mahārāja raises both his hands and cheers by saying Hariboḷ All devotees say Haribol too]

I am always inspired to hear how so many people in Bangalore are joining the Bhakti Vrikshaś and visiting different temples.

Well, as I say one should not just hear they should see it. I have come here to see it.

The devotees said Haribol slowly so Guru Mahārāja said,” I don’t see any enthusiasm” . Then there is loud cheering of Haribol by devotees.

Guru Mahārāja says I was just kidding. I want to spend time by associating with all devoteeṣ[ Loud Haribol by devotees]

But I should still continue my therapies. [All laugh]

I think every day there is a different group taking care of my personal services, we are very grateful to that, Guru Mahārāja repeats it.

In Māyāpur there are people from all over the world, so there I eat Bengali, South Indian, Italian. I would like to taste here whatever you are excellent in making. I have a very limited diet with so much grain, so much salt, pulseṣ But subjis and salad [ Guru Mahārāja indicates with his hand no problem]  He laughs and tell I am very limited.

Lord Caitanya has made it very easy for us all. By His mercy, by Nitai’ s mercy, even people who did not want to be Kṛṣṇa conscious they got the mercy, like Jagai and Madhai, at their Samadhis, they show how they would go to the Ganges every day, chanting with kartaals and crying in bliss. You are all pious people, so it is very easy for you to chant Hare Kṛṣṇa.  11.15-11.25 We want you to spread this to others. Let them get the mercy of Lord Caitanya NOW!!

Guru Mahārāja has offered a special blessing to the city of Bangalore. We have kept track, at least three times in last one year he has has said, everyone in the city of Bangalore should become devotee and should be known as ISKCON city.
