Jayapatākā Swami: Today there is a special recitation of the Bhagavad-gītā. That is why I am very proud that this is happening here. The Bhagavad-gītā was spoken from the lotus mouth of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa. This way, the main goal of human life is explained. Most of the people don’t know what is the goal of human life. Here, all are assembled here to recite the Bhagavad-gītā so that all will know the goal of human life. The Bhagavad-gītā is the essence or summary of the Vedas. If we understand the Bhagavad-gītā then we have understood the Vedas. All of you have assembled here to recite the Bhagavad-gītā, I am very grateful to you for that. Now the Bhagavad-gītā is read all over the world by different people and many are following the teachings of the Bhagavad-gītā in their lives.
