20201122 Zoom Session with Ujjain Bace devotees

The following is a Zoom Session with Ujjain devotees by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja on November 22nd, 2020 in Śrī Dhāma Māyāpur, India.

mūkaṁ mūkhaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī gurum dina tarinam
paramānanda mādhavaṁ śrī caitanya īśvaram
Hariḥ oṁ tat sat!

Jayapatākā Swami: So we are very happy to be visiting Madhya Pradesh today. Madhya Pradesh is a very sacred place. Ujjain is one of the ancient places, tīrthas, where the Kumbha Melā is held and Śrīla Prabhupāda, he did various programs in Madhya Pradesh. His Holiness Bhakti Cāru Mahārāja was also preaching extensively in Madhya Pradesh. His Grace Mahāman Prabhu is also there in Madhya Pradesh. We are very glad to be visiting Madhya Pradesh today. We are happy that different activities are going on in Bhopal. And today I am going to visit the BACEs.

Śrīla Prabhupāda said that the students, the intelligent youth, they will be jewels of the society. And they should be able to achieve the success of human life. Should be able to cross over this world of birth and death. And go back to the eternal, spiritual world. Lord Caitanya’s mercy is there that people can easily achieve perfection of human life. By chanting the holy name of Hari. So, actually there is no difference between the name of Kṛṣṇa and Kṛṣṇa Himself. By chanting the name of Kṛṣṇa one can get the personal association of Kṛṣṇa. We also know that there are various distractions in the material world. And that we are the madhyastha-śakti or jīva-śakti. We can either be under the control of Mahāmāyā or Yogamāyā. If we identify with the body then we get attracted to Mahāmāyā. If we are Kṛṣṇa conscious, spiritually identified, then we are under the protection of Yogamāyā. So we have the choice. We want to be under the control of Mahāmāyā or Yogamāyā.

Lord Caitanya, He gave us the invitation to be Kṛṣṇa conscious. His Divine Grace Abhaya Caraṇāravinda Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda, he spread this message of Lord Caitanya all over the world. And he was assisted by His Holiness Bhakti Cāru Swami. Now you have a choice, you want to be under the protection of Yogamāyā or Mahāmāyā. These energies are very strong. And if we are not under the protection of Yogamāyā, Mahāmāyā will bewilder us. That is why we take the position to always be under Kṛṣṇa and His divine potency. That is why we constantly chant Hare Kṛṣṇa throughout the day, at least 16 rounds we try. Those who are initiated,they do. Those who are not yet initiated, they can chant something. But the more we can take shelter of Kṛṣṇa, the more will we be protected from Mahāmāyā. Hare Kṛṣṇa!
