20170622 His.Holiness.Jayapatākā Swami gave a talk about the glories of Antardwip Dhāma

mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ

paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim

Gurumaharaja: 

Vanakkam, Nandri, Thank you very much for your great efforts. 

Antara Dwipā means it is a very important island. All the other Dwipā’s go around Antardwipā. I don’t know how Antardwipā matches up, but in Nabadwipā Dhāma the centre island is called Antardwipā. What I could understand is that you have 15 Bhakti Vrikshā groups. 

So, usually one circle has 10 to 15 groups. Three sectors. So each circle should have three sectors, and each sector has three to five devotees. Three to five groups. So in this way there is automatic expansion and people can move up. So I know that they have expanded from nine groups to 16 groups, and before we used to have a house that was authorized by the government, and then house was taken away. 

So we are doing this Bhakti Vrikshā program discreetly, and it is nice to see that the devotees are keeping up the faith. Not only that, but every year the results are expanding, and devotees and books in different areas. 

So, if one can spend a little time and energy in serving the Lord, then that’s the perfection of Bhakti Yoga. Bhakti Yoga is considered the most effective yoga. There are many times of Yoga, like Yoga by Sankarachāryā. It’s said that if one wants to have liberation he has to be a sanyasi. That’s for the Jñāna yoga, but in Bhakti Yoga many grihasthās achieve the same success, and much quicker also in one lifetime. This Bhakti Yoga was practiced by great personalities like Ambarish, Prahlāda, Bali Mahārāja. And Lord Caitanyā was considered the crown jewel of all the avatars, because He has given out freely Kṛṣṇa Premā.

So, side by side while you are working taking care of you economics, you are also able to do some regular service to Lord Kṛṣṇa. So this is very auspicious, and Kṛṣṇa never forgets. So if one leaves this body thinking of Kṛṣṇa, one goes back to the planet of Kṛṣṇa. Not only that but up to 14 generations get liberation as well, seven before and seven after. 

So, we go round and just see sales, 30% off, upto 50% off sale. Not everything is discounted. Something’s upto 50, but upto 14 generations, no one is offering that. You go around and see the Ramzan sales. There is an offer, but there is not one that says 14 generations [applause] [Haribol] So Lord Caitanyā has given what was never given before.

Kṛṣṇa comes in every day of Brahmā. That’s about 8 billion years. That’s billion calculation for us, but sometimes Lord Caitanyā comes, and when He comes He always comes after Lord Kṛṣṇa. Eight billion or 16 we don’t know, but minimum is 8 billion years. So if we miss this chance, then you have to wait 8 billion years to get another chance like this. He doesn’t consider who is qualified or who is unqualified, but loots the treasure house. Just like Kṛṣṇa would steal the butter and give to the monkeys, Lord Caitanyā is robbing the store house of Kṛṣṇa Premā and giving it out freely.

How want Kṛṣṇa Prema? [Haribol]

So no great austerities, just avoid the acts of Kali. Chant Hare Kṛṣṇa and be happy. Help others to be Kṛṣṇa conscious. This is the process of Bhakti Yoga. So I am seeing here that you are taking up very seriously and I appreciate it. 

So may Anatra Dwipā continue to expand.
