Śrī Caitanya Iswaram

I thought that I was part of a many speakers, because tonight I was told that they are giving out the Bhakti Śāstrī to Bengali devotee.

Whenever I speak in English he will speak in Bengali, and whenever I will speak in Bengali he will speak in English.

Bg 2.21

vedāvināśinaṁ nityaṁ

ya enam ajam avyayam

kathaṁ sa puruṣaḥ pārtha

kaṁ ghātayati hanti kam

O Pārtha, how can a person who knows that the soul is indestructible, eternal, unborn and immutable kill anyone or cause anyone to kill?

From this verse we can understand that soul is eternal, and since the soul is eternal it is indestructible.

One time one old person left his body in one family. So, in that family the husband had left his body. So, the wife is crying saying, “My husband is gone.” His son is crying, “My father has gone.” The brother’s son, he is crying, “My uncle is gone.” So, like this his nephew is saying, “My grandfather is gone.” The village people they are saying, “Our main person from the village is gone.” But Prabhupāda is asking, “What has left?” So, he is saying, “Same body is there, same hair, nail, everything is same, so what has left?”

What has left?

Like this Prabhupāda was saying using this simple example how the soul is eternal, and the soul leaves when the body dies.

We know that Sanātan Goswāmi was the Prime Minister. When he told Lord Caitanya, “People call me a Pandit, but actually I am a food. I do not who I am. So, Please tell me, who am I?” So, Lord Caitanya taught him, “Jīvera Swārupa hay Nitya Kṛṣṇa Das. The soul, the jīva is the eternal servant of Kṛṣṇa.” So, this was the secret of the Bhagavad-gītā. So, this and many other things are taught in the Bhakti Śāstrī. Also many other things about Bhakti yoga, karma yoga.

So, the devotees learn the Bhagavad-gītā, all the eighteen chapters. Also Isopanishad, also first part of Nectar of Devotion.

Any other śāstra?

Nectar of Instruction.

Prabhupāda, he personally established this system. So, we hope that devotees would read and achieve their Bhakti Śāstrī.

When you get initiation we have to read the Bhagavad-gītā ten times. I still have the Gītā with ten marks.

One, two, three four,

So, now it is easy. But Bhakti Śāstrī is a very systematic study of the Bhagavad-gītā. So, we are very happy that the devotees are studying Bhakti Śāstrī, and we know the Prabhupāda, he wanted this.

I am speaking in English because Siromoni can understand English better. So she can be repeated.

So, we offer our obeisance’s to Rādhā-Mādhava and Asthasakhi, Rādhā-Mādhava and Māyāpura Chadra. This temple is named after the Deity of Māyāpura Chandra. This is called Māyāpura Candrodaya Mandira, or also Caitanya Candrodaya Mandira.

We have Panchatatva which includes Caitanya Candra and Nityānanda,  Advaita, Gadādhara, Śrīvāsa. Also we have Praḥlāda-Naṛsimha.

So, in the Temple of Vedic Planetarium we have the main Deities of Rādhā-Mādhava and Panchatatva and also the Guru Paramparā. In the side temple we will have the Praḥlāda-Naṛsingha. On the other side we will have the Temple of Planetarium, we will have the Vedic Planetarium. So, we have cows.... and Prabhupāda said it is auspicious that the cows are grazing on the land where we build the temple. So, where the cows grazed is where we are building the Temple of Vedic Planetarium, and Prabhupāda also started the Bhakti Śāstrī here in Māyāpur

So, he said that after Bhakti Śāstrī would be Bhakti Vaivaha, after Bhakti Vaibavā would be Bhakti Vedānta, and after Bhakti Vedānta there will also be the Bhakti Sarbabhauma. So, we are sure that Prabhupāda is also happy that here in Māyāpur we have the Māyāpur Institute which is providing this education side by side, and we are glad that the Bengali devotees are also studying. So, we have also English and Bengali course.

So, we will give out the certificates, if there is time we will answer questions ...

Haribol..................................... [Haribol]

Haribol..................................... [Haribol]

Haribol..................................... [Haribol]

This year we will also start Bhakti Vaivabha in Bengali.

Very good.

And also courses will start in Portugese. So, that’s good for the Brazilian and Portuguese, some countries in Africa.

So, you can talk to this devotee if they are going to have a question in other language like Russian or Swedish or Spanish. Here is the person, talk to him. Hindi, Tamil.

Somehow Portuguese going ahead.

So, we will hand over the certificate.... ceremony.
