Guru Mahārāja:

So, what I will speak will be translated into English.

Today is the auspicious day of Śrī Kṛṣṇa's Rasa Līlā. The gopī's to make Kṛṣṇa satisfied, came running to him but Kṛṣṇa gave them many tests.

So, in the last exam they all came running to Kṛṣṇa, and then Kṛṣṇa gave them the instruction to go back. "If you worship my Deity, that is enough." He gave many instructions but the gopī’s did not want to hear them. So, he made them cry.

And at the end, Kṛṣṇa accepted all of them.

Actually, the exam that the gopī’s had to undergo was very complex.

Starting from the Kātyāyanī pūjā, they did many different things.

We also will have to undergo exams.

Tests can come from those who love you.

Tests can come from those who are envious from you.

You can be tested by your mind and senses.

Now, Kṛṣṇa says in the Bhagavad-gītā, “deivi hy eṣā guṇa mayi, mama māyā durataya.”

My energy of māyā is my transcendental energy, and to crossover this is very difficult, but those who surrender themselves completely unto me, I will cross them over this māyā energy, and take them to the spiritual energy.

So, an initiation ceremony is happening here. An initiation means, “I am surrendering myself completely to Kṛṣṇa. That at the least I will follow all the four regulative principles. That I will serve Kṛṣṇa, That I will accept the instructions of my guru and carry them out, and that every day I will chant sixteen rounds of the mahāmantra.”

So, who all are taking the vow that, “I will follow these four regulative principles.” raise your hands?

So, on this auspicious day of rasa Pūrṇimā, it is my hope that you all will serve Lord Kṛṣṇa. This is my blessings. (applause)

I was ready at 10 O'clock, but the ambassador of Venezuela came. Many other things happened, and they didn't send anyone to get me.

They just send phone calls.

But others are coming. So, it was hard to fight off the people.

So, let us start the ceremonies.

Hold on.
