Jayapatākā Swami: Busy day today, many people have come. And some officers have come. Today, for those who are taking initiation is the lesson that they will have to follow all their lives. Is there anyone who does not understand Bengali here? So, the rules are not a simple promise, they are very serious oaths to be followed for the whole life. What the guru teaches, by following them one can establish a strong relationship with Kṛṣṇa. So those who are wanting to take initiation will try to follow all the rules throughout their lives. If one does not follow the instructions of guru, that would be committing the third of the ten offences against the holy name. This Harināma is non-different from Kṛṣṇa. And it is an offence if one considers the holy name to be a puṇya karma, a pious activity. If one is envious of a devotee, that is also an offence. The holy name has to be chanted properly because the holy name we chant is non-different from the name itself in the spiritual world. But in this material world the name and the named person is not the same. A person’s name is different from his position in the material world. This way, Harināma is a very special tool of Kṛṣṇa. If we chant the name of Kṛṣṇa, then our heart gets cleansed, and we get a special attraction for Kṛṣṇa. You will come in and I will give you the chanting beads. And those who will taken second initiation will get the Gāyatrī.

Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/
Hare Rāma,Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare!
