20240302 Lord Narasiṁhadeva Wing Grand Opening in TOVP Day 3 Address

mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-gurun dina tāriṇam
paramānanda-mādhavam śrī caitanya īśvaram
hariḥ oṁ tat sat

Jayapatākā Swami: [Inaudible] I offer my respectful obeisances to His Holiness Gopāla Kṛṣṇa Goswami Mahārāja, His Holiness Rādhānātha Swami Mahārāja and His Holiness Bhakti Puruṣottama Swami. [Inaudible] This is a very auspicious day. [Inaudible] Ambarīṣa Prabhu and Braja Vilāsa Prabhu and all the devotees to finish the temple by 2026. As you may have noticed, this temple has three domes – eastern dome is for Narasiṁhadeva, Central done for the Deities, Rādhā Mādhava, Pañca-tattva, Guru-paramparā and the West dome for the Exhibition of the Temple of the Vedic Planetariuṃ. We wanted to especially prepare the eastern dome for the presence of Narasiṁhadeva, Narasiṁhadeva is non-different from Kṛṣṇa. He has got half lion and half human form. In Māyāpur we were attacked by dacoits. Do you know what a dacoit is? Armed robbers!  [Inaudible] Since Narasiṁhadeva is present the [audio not clear] remove obstacles. [Inaudible].

Today the GBC and the senior devotees are going to light the lamps to inaugurate the Narasiṁha temple. But we don’t want to move Narasiṁhadeva here till we move all the Deities. So, Narasiṁhadeva wing, I was testing, I had my disciples yell out and there was no echo. But this main temple is not finished yet because we need money! So there is a slight echo. But actually, this temple is being constructed under the request of Śrīla Prabhupāda and our previous ācāryas. And we pray that Lord Narasiṁhadeva protect Ambarīṣa Prabhu, Svāhā devī dāsī, Braja Vilāsa and all the devotees and our Western Wing and volunteers. We are trying to do something that will attract the people from around the world. So that they will be impressed how the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is good science, how people when they view the beautiful Deities, people should understand how great is Lord Caitanya! He is the most merciful! He doesn’t even ask if someone is qualified or not, He just gives everyone kṛṣṇa-bhakti. Because of that mood even Narasiṁhadeva is a bit approachable. This is the dhāma, audārya-ddhāma (mercy dhāma). And even if you go to Vṛndāvana, you are supposed to come here first. Even if you chant Hare Kṛṣṇa, you are supposed to chant the Pañca-tattva mantra first.

We are very blessed that today we can see the altar of Lord Narasiṁhadeva after they finish the yajña. We all want to see the whole temple, each wing to be finished. Recently we decided that we should fully combine our efforts between the West-wing and the Central-wing. For some reason 50 years passed by since Śrīla Prabhupāda passed away or 50 years since the establishment of ISKCON, still we have not opened this temple. At least, we are offering the Eastern-wing for Narasiṁhadeva and surely the devotees will step forward so that we can open all the other wings.

One of the days when I was passing by, they showed me the Jaya Vijaya Deities on the two sides. Have you seen? They are so big! We have Narasiṁhadeva, we have Jaya Vijaya. Somehow, we have to get Rādhā Mādhava Aṣṭa-sakhi and Pañca-tattva. Śrīla Prabhupāda said was to show the whole cosmology, we should defeat the atheistic propaganda and we have for the science the Bhaktivedanta Institute working with us so that we can establish life comes from life. It is not possible that it comes from dead matter. Dead matter is dead matter. He also said to show the four dhāmas – Devī-dhāma, Maheśa-dhāma, Hari-dhāma and Goloka-dhāma. It is a very big order! And many people are working on this. We want with Lord Narasiṁhadeva’s mercy that all the obstacles be removed. Hare Kṛṣṇa!
