There is nothing beyond or above this.

Following is a talk given by His Holiness Jayapatākā Swami Mahārāja on August 12th, 2011 in Śrī Dhāma Māyāpur, India. The talk was given at the Jhūlana-yātrā festival with English and Bengali translation.

jaya rādhā-mādhava kuñja-bihārī
gopī-jana-vallabha giri-vara-dhārī
yaśodā-nandana braja-jana-rañjana
yāmuna-tīra-vana-cārī

Jaya rādhā-mādhava, rādhā-mādhava, rādhe!
Nitāi-gaura hari bol!
Jaya prabhupāda, prabhupāda, prabhupāda jaya prabhupāda!

mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-gurum dīna-tāranam
paramānanda mādhavaṁ śrī caitanya īśvaraṁ
Hariḥ oṁ tat sat!

Guru Mahārāja: We are very happy that we could at least one day participate in the Rādhā-Madhāva jhūlana-yātrā. Jhūlana-yātrā is very special because we get opportunity to serve the deities directly. We get a chance to swing them. Those who are initiated, those who are brāhmaṇas and those who are not initiated. Everyone gets a chance! Strī, vaiśyas tathā śūdras (Bg. 9.32), everyone who comes forward, they get a chance.

We heard that in Varṣāṇā, Rādhārāṇī was sitting next to Kṛṣṇa, and there the gopīs are swinging them on a swing. So, Rādhārāṇī, She grabbed on to Kṛṣṇa so that She will not fall off. So Kṛṣṇa, he was very happy to get Rādhārāṇī to embrace Him. In jhūlana, actually She automatically embraces him. So, this festival is very dear to Kṛṣṇa.

We are also especially happy because this Navadvīpa-dhāma is especially Rādhārāṇī’s dhāma. She made the Navadvīpa-dhāma to please Kṛṣṇa, and She offered to Kṛṣṇa. So, He accepts this offering of Rādhārāṇī, and when He appears here, He takes the mood and the color of Rādhārāṇī. Therefore he is known as Gaurāṅga.

Gaurāṅga!

Gaurāṅga!

Gaurāṅga!

So, Rādhārāṇī’s name is Gaurāṅgī, and Lord’s Caitanya is Gaurāṅga. So, this is a very special festival which is observed by all the temples in Vṛndāvana, and we are happy that here also we are observing. People have come from all over to participate. It starts on Ekādaśī, and ends tomorrow on Balarāma Pūrṇimā. We are especially very very encouraged that this festival is promoted and done by the youth of Māyāpur. That they use their intelligence how to make every jhūlana something special. We see how every tree has been decorated with lights, and how beautiful the ponds and all the decorations are. We pray that Rādhā-Mādhava will give their special blessings to all the youth of Māyāpur.
Hari bol!

Please also give them special thanks.

Three times we can chant Hari bol. Nitāi-Gaura Haribol.

Nitāi-Gaura Haribol!

Nitāi-Gaura Haribol!!

Nitāi-Gaura Haribol!!!

So Kṛṣṇa, He is the Lord of Lords.

īśvaraḥ paramaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ
sac-cid-ānanda-vigrahaḥ
anādir ādir govindaḥ
sarva-kāraṇa-kāraṇam

So, He is the causes of all causes, and He Himself has no cause. He is the original Personality of Godhead. So He is what we call Rasa-śekhara. That He is specially worshipped in all the rasas. He is the best of all the masters. He is the ideal friend. For Arjuna, He was Pārthasārathī. For the cowherd boys in Vṛndāvana, He was Kānāi.

dauji kā bhaiya, kṛṣṇa kanhaiya!
kṛṣṇa kanhaiya, dauji kā bhaiya!
kṛṣṇa kanhaiya, dauji kā bhaiya!
kṛṣṇa kanhaiya, dauji kā bhaiya!
kṛṣṇa kanhaiya, dauji kā bhaiya!

For Nanda and Yaśodā He was the ideal son. Being Bhagavān was not what they thought, but they thought that He was the ideal son. And also He shows that He is the ideal Lover. So He satisfies all the devotees. Lord Caitanya said that the system of worshipping Kṛṣṇa in Vṛndāvana is the best. So, we should take shelter of Rādhā-Mādhava and Māyāpur Candra and Lord Caitanya. This is the perfection of our life. There is nothing beyond or above this.

Hari bol!

Jaya Rādhā-Mādhava kī…!

Devotees: Jaya!

Jaya Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Mādhava!

So they said I should speak for ten minutes. So, I think ten minutes is over. Now we will hand the stage back to the musicians.
