Guru Maharaja: So we said we will speak every night on Lord Caitanya’ s pastimes in Srivas Angan

Yesterday he gave introduction, why Lord Caitanya   1.42-48

He was experiencing great ecstasy. And only a certain people are qualified to witness that.

Maybe I committed some offence. What to do. What to do. 6:30-6:35 He looked around he went into his house no one was there. He looked around. He couldn’t find anyone 6:50-6:55 so they started kirtan again.

Again Lord Chaitanya stopped the Kirtan. I am not feeling ecstasy. Why who is responsible? is there anyone outsider here? 8:20-8:30

 

Why Lord Chaitanya is not feeling ecstasy 8:35-8:40 he was looking again. He saw a bamboo basket big basket upside down. Once again he lifted it up he saw his mother in law there. He grabbed her by neck (laughter by devotees) and took her out and shut the door 9:25-9:30

 

Lord Chaitanya said who is that. I don’t know (laughter by devotees) 9:30-9:35

Your mother in law

I don’t know her

How can you treat your mother in law like that?

Your happiness is priority in my life. Your Ecstasy was being disturbed. It does not matter whoever it is. 10:10-10:12 Lord Chaitanya said she was such an exceptional devotee

Hare Krishna Maharaj. Please accept my humble obeisance. How to realize that the real problems in life are Birth, Death, old age and disease? We are caught up in day to day problems and forget the real problems.

 

Guru Maharaja

It sounds that you know what the real problem is. Is it the question or answer? Birth, Death, old age and disease are the real problems. 13:25-13:30 We should have priorities in life. Birth, Death, old age and disease are the real priorities Especially the death aspect. We know that eventually we all die. There is 100% guarantee. 14:10-14:21 Grandfather died. His father died. His father died. We all think I am not going to die. Will not happen to me. 14:55-15:25

 

Lord Buddha how he saw a diseased person, old person and dead person. Thought what if it happens to me. His charioteer said it happens to everyone. Then he saw a lady and watched her 15:55-16:40

 

So he began to meditate. Took 6 years to get realization in Gaya under Bodh tree. 17:30-18:14

 

First time I heard about reincarnation I hadn’t heard it before I asked the science teacher about this. 18:00-18:10 this is science class. Don’t ask all these questions. Don’t ask these questions I told you the teacher replied. 18:48-19:00 existential questions. Please understand this is the real problem of life. And we should solve that first. That’s why we want to engage in devotional service throughout our life. The other problems will come and go like summer and winter seasons. But we should have the solution to this problem. 19:40-19:50 so we can engage in Krishna service. 19:55-20:40 the other problems will come and go.

Hare Krishna Maharaj. In the most understandable and best way how to introduce Lord Krishna to a non-devotee?

 

Guru Maharaja

That may vary from one person to the next. Everyone is not the same. 22:00 you say who can explain things nicely we are not the body we are the living force in the body I never heard expression living soul aatma to make my mother easy to understand he said he doesn’t believe in any other. Lord Ram he doesn’t believe in Krishna going on long time he may die because the King see he was enjoying life and after this he has to pay all the Karma direct to God head. Hari Bol 28:00

Then they come forward and ask for 29:20-30:09 there is one God all these are different name for same God Allah Bhawan Krishna is only God 30:30 - 32:27 In your philosophy everyone dies and stay in the grave. they have one chance. Why God doesn’t give everyone equal chance? They did not have any answer this is a mystery. It is a mystery to you not to us because we believe in reincarnation. 33:25- 33:39 they ran off. 33:45-33:55  I had to use some defensive posture. 34:00-34:18 I went to Salt lake city in United States. 34:34-35:31 so what is the philosophy 37:12 I asked them was there any supreme lord. it’s a secret. 37:25-37:38:08 they are actually atheists they don’t believe in a supreme god. 38:14-38:52 next question.

 

Devotee Question

Why should anybody believe Krishna is Supreme when he was born in Dwapara Yuga to mother Yashoda and the world did not know his name before. This is question by Prashanth.

The world know him. He is mentioned in the Rig Veda. In the Rig Veda it is said 39:22-39:35 Vasudeva was born in Dwapara Yuga but he was mentioned in all the Vedas as Vasudeva as Krishna. 39:52-39:55 Rig Vedas are the original Vedas. Lord Krishna was mentioned before, Krishna Balarama was mentioned. They take birth in this world after some time. 40:32-41:00 Can you lift it? He spoke Bhagwad Gita. Can hex explain such thick philosophy. He married 16118 queens and he was with each one at the same time. 41:35- 43:50

If Buddha is Krishna why Buddha teaches 44-00-44:20 Internet Question by Gauri

Good question. 44:45-45:00 that there is no existence 45:25 the star disappears. Nothing. 45:35-45:45 they cease to exist this is Buddhism. Shankaracharya 46:00 so he stopped the unauthorized sacrifice of the animals. Krishna as Buddha came to stop the sacrifice of animals which are not 47:00-48:00 s we all have the duty to propagate Lord Chaitanya’s teachings. 48:00-48:30

All glories to the divine grace. Is it ok to think of ones own at the time of one death and not just krishna ?

That is also auspicious because he is always connected to Krishna . 49:10-49:20

Devotees - What is the way to clean our situation when we cant forgive others?

 

Guru Maharaja

50:15-50.20 used to give a seminar on forgiving. He was preaching that we should forgive. 50.50-51.30 this is a standard thing that I tell everyone. The problem with that when I ask the devotees to forgive me they say no you did not commit any offence. In case I did I would not have done forgiveness in any case . 52.30-53.00 we should not take it personally. We should convince them 53.20-54.20 who am I ? I am an insect.  I am insignificant. Nobody can offend me. I am too fallen. I am too simple. Do you think like that? But Lord Chaitanya thinks you are true devotee. Because of you not forgiving  54.48-54.50 he should burn in hell. He wants someone else to suffer because of you. No No No I don’t want anyone else to suffer because of me. So then he has to forgive me. I cant think anyone suffering because of me. 55.30-55.38 fell at his feet. Please forgive me. I didn’t realize that you are a pure devotee. 55.55-56.00

 

Lord Chaitanya came 56.00-56.05 embraced him and he was cured of leprosy. 56.20-57.20 they can offer their obeisance to each other. 57.25-57.44 Jai Shri Vashnav Brind ki Jai. If I have done any offence please forgive me. I don’t know if anybody has done any offence to me, I forgive them.
